I tried this and it still didn't work. I don't wanna record a gameplay video and then lace my audio track into it, I wanna record LIVE commentary. I wanna record everything as it happens, I wanna record while I'm in the middle of playing the game. How do I do this? I've got a Dazzle, got a Turtle Beach P11 headset and got it all hooked up to my PS3. I can talk to people, they can talk to me, I can record gameplay, but when I play it back, the commentary isn't in the video.

I think I found out a way to do it, man. Record the game like normal, but instead of putting the headset into the PS3, plug it into your laptop and use Audiocity to record your commentary while you're playing the game. The only bad thing is that when you're with it all, you gotta line up the audio with the video to make it look live, which it technically still is. That's the only real way of doing it.. for some reason.

Just throwing out a tip for some people who find the whole timing the audacity audio with the video feed: before you start your game start your audio, then, when you are about to start recording video just say something as simple as 3 2 1. And time it methodically like 3. 2. 1 and then click. You can go in and edit it very simply afterwards. Hope I helped ^^

i got 3 A/V splitters and put em in the dazzle, put the wii's wire into the dazzle and the double ended A/V cables into the other side of the splitter and into my tv

if your tv isnt like that then you can just get three splitters put 1 in to each hole of the dazzle and run the double ended av cable from you tv to your dazzle and the console av cable from the dazzle to the console and hey presto your recording your gameplay lke not a pro but not a complete noob that just happens to own a digital camera

theres a new Dazzle HD which comes with Pinnacle Studios HD, and it lets you add the commentary simultaniously without having to get another software like Audacity. I would recommend people to get that.

if you did, then you wouldn't be able to play your game on a big screen. and your gameplay will lag by two seconds, like if you press the jump button, your character you see in the dazzle preview record screen wont jump for 2 secs.

I DO record while i play gameplay i know what you mean. I record my voice the same time I play the game. I do NOT record my voice after the gameplay has been recorded. You capture your voice the same time you capture your gameplay

u don't have either video or audio out? then use y-splitters to split the signal on the video in. so plug your y-splitters where you would put your video game cable wires in the tv, then plug your video game wires into one of the pairs, and the double ended av cable to the other end.
