Left hand piano: chords? C and F? as a chord? or alternating?

I play 2 notes in the left hand at once for most of the song. You can play a full C chord and F chord if you choose to but I used just the octaves. So the actual notes would be c and c and f and f. You play c and c an octave apart first then switch to f and f an octave apart. Try watching the hands in the video.

The chords are underneath the heading Left Hand - Chords. So begin with C major, then F major for the verse. Then for the bridge A minor, then G major, then F major etc.
