I also use Fedora 16 and I love it. I switched over to Linux Mint 12 and used it for about a week. Now I am right back on Fedora. To me Fedora is the best and smoothest Linux distro out now.
oops, should have read i guess, oh well. btw just saw you did some android stuff as well, which is cool, and desperately need I think. android should be developed in Linux I think, its just the 'right' thing. btw, I'm an xda rom/kernel dev- di11igaf. you frequent xda?
Does "timer frequency" have something with core speed? i mean if i have 3.0GHz processor do i have to select timer frequency 3000MHz, and what does that exactly mean?
@ivantomica Your processor clock speed does not correlate to timer frequency necessarily represent here's a good explanation "Boot-time clock frequency selection The timer interrupt is the kernel's way of keeping track of the passage of time. Every so often, a programmable timer interrupts the kernel, which responds by updating its internal time value, performing various housekeeping tasks, and executing any delayed kernel work whose time has come.
@OhHeyItsLou Oh let's see did i get this right, so timer frequency should always be under clock speed? And what potential benefits do you have if you put that timer just a little bit under your clock speed , so let's say you have 3.0 processor and you put timer freq. on 2000mhz. Cause i don't get it why they put that option there if over 1000 doesn't benefit you at all... BTW thank you for replying on my question.
@ivantomica I mentioned in the video if you put the timer frequency above 1000hz you run the risk of breaking modules it's your kernel so if you want to experiment by all means give it a whirl however you won't be able to tell the difference between 1000hz and say something like 3000hz.
@ZiLdJiAn4LiF3 I pick up quite a few from Interfacelift I've been collecting wallpapers from all over the web for quite a while any time I see one I like from somewhere I just grab it.

@xprocharged1 Thanks! In the provided blog post in the description I included all of the necessary packages for compilation including ncurses-devel.

Off topic of kernel compiling, but in the videos I've seen I like your backgrounds. Where do you get them. Awesome video as well!
