  • i saw it and the image did not fill even half the screen size.i guess fake imax thing is true although we were charged less than any regular 3D in gold class and the picture was still a lot larger than ordinary 3D

  • Totally awesome how you put this all together Asil and you really made this movie a must see now kinda flick as I was actually waiting too see if it was just all hype before I braved the crowds, so it look's like this weekend then thanks too you my friend!?!:)

  • It's crazy good. I hope you enjoy/enjoyed it!

  • JajA!! muy buen video!, me encanto! gracias

JajA!! Very good video!, I was charmed with it! Thank you

  • Did you watch it in a IMAX Dome or regular flat IMAX screen?

  • We watched it in an IMAX Dome. Huge Screen!

  • @Asilnavel Is the screen part of the planetarium? I watched a movie in an IMAX Dome once. I hated the way the projection got distorted at the 4 corners when a flat movie is shown on a dome shape screen. Aweful experience. No more IMAX Dome for me except for star gazing.

BTW, are you a professional film maker? Your video looks really good. Great editing, great sound etc.

  • This screen is only used for IMAX films, and it is in a dome. I've watched two current 3D IMAX films there and was blown away by both of them. The first was A Christmas Carol, and the second was Avatar. There was no distortion at the corners.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with that other screen.

Thank you for your lovely compliments. I'm an actor, photographer, and I'm learning to be a director. I would love to make films one day.

  • @Asilnavel I have been to Seattle space needle twice, but I have not been to the theater shown in your video. I saw a dome shape building in your video hence my question. The IMAX dome I talked about is in San Jose's Tech Museum. They simply project a rectangular movie onto the dome shape ceiling. It just didn't fit. The distortion is aweful.

  • love your video......love AVATAR..

  • @vick68ce Thank you! Yes, we LOVED it. I can't wait to see it again.

  • love this film..........

  • great video! and Avatar... what a great film!

    :)

    Kelly G!

  • @kellyg5 Thank you! Yes, what a great film. I was at Comic Con last July and saw 25 min of it. Then, listened to James Cameron speak about creating it. So inspiring! I've attempted to tell people over these last 4 months what the movie was like and all I could come up with was, "It's like nothing you've ever seen before....you have to see it to believe it."

  • Lovely!

  • Thank you. And thank you for helping me navigate my channel.

  • this was such an amazing movie and i'm glad you and your friends had the same reaction after the movie....a bunch of the people in the theater i went to couldn't believe what they saw. they sat in their seats after the movie because it was just mind-blowing. it's like they woke up from a dream and asked themselves.."what did we just watch??"

  • Yes! Amazing! The four of us pretty much felt the same way. Thanks for you comment.

  • Ounch! the cameras in cinemas are prohibited here in Spain!!

  • We are also not allowed to film any parts of the movie here, but we can film each other.
