I dunno if this is total science fiction question but is it possible for a fully developed clone to have memories from its host genes? I dont think its the its cloning tech itself that people worry about but what the technology is used for or the potential for what it could be used for that gets them riled up. You say that it mainly be used for research but many think that once that door is opened then it will progress to something else.

I think everyone can agree that if human cloning was perfected almost every country would actually try to build a clone army and then eventually mess with their genes to try to make them super soldiers and try to conquer the world. Sure it may sound like the plot from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Star Wars Episode 2 but that's what many world leaders would probably want.

I think that scientists are far in advance in human cloning that this man indicates. Wasn't there publicity a few years ago about scientists who had cloned adult bodies or wanted to? I really don't think that scientists are this hesitant or inept - or worried about moral implications.

The argument you could use to experiment with cloning or stem cell research is that you don't necessarily need the nucleus from a embryonic stem cell. You could use the nucleus from one of the cells in your nose or ears because those parts never stop growing. It's just that with an embryonic stem cell growth is more rapid. We would have to find a way to speed up development to salvage parts like our arms.

I think that scientists are far in advance in human cloning that this man indicates. Wasn't there publicity a few years ago about scientists who had cloned adult bodies or wanted to? I really don't think that scientists are this hesitant or inept - or worried about moral implications.

Human cloning is very complicated subject. I personally think that its not respectful do parents and most importantly GOD. Cloning would create so much conflict in the world because of religions. Girl's privacy would be gone completely. Sexual activities would increase and humanity would go crazy.
Tell me, is it worth it? I think we can use cloning only and I repeat ONLY for cure for diseases like cancer. And cloning would slow economy too by the way.

However it is possible that with stem cell research there wont need to be any parts cloned or reconstructive surgery done at all. Instead all you may need to do is undergo some kind of treatment in which the process of stem cell research is used that allows for the ability of damaged or missing parts to heal back to their previous state. Applied to the example I used earlier you would grow a pair lol.Though I am assuming you would have to take action before any healing of the skin happens.

no, because cell divison doesn't happen in materials like plastic. The argument you could use to experiment with cloning or stem cell research is that you don't necessarily need the nucleus from a embryonic stem cell. You could use the nucleus from one of the cells in your nose or ears because those parts never stop growing. It's just that with an embryonic stem cell growth is more rapid. We would have to find a way to speed up development to salvage parts like our arms.

Einstein said energy can not die and can not be made by man. This is why I believe it wouldn't have a sole. I know it's sad but that's my belief. I didn't say I was against cloning, I just mentioned that cloning for the purpose of bringing a human life (I would call a clone not human) to the the earth is a bad thing. Cloning parts is different and so is cloning animals for the purpose of a never ending food supply. They already have a cure for the paralyzed do to stem cell research, so you can use it for good.
