i have to be honest. i think messi is a great player and a fantastic finisher but i get the feeling that he wouldnt be as good as he is without his speed. if you take his speed out, he wouldnt be getting past people with such easy moves. c ronaldo has similar speed but also demonstrates alot more technical savvy with the ball... not that i really like c ronaldo. I think that they both have to different roles with their teams. Fabregas however has excelled in putting his teamates in a position to score consistently, and his passes are amazing. my favorite players in the world messi and cesc. its hard to tell which is better. they have different styles of playing. cesc is a clsssic midfielder with incredible vision, but messi is the best dribbler in the world.

You cant compare those two players, but most people would say messi is better as he scores more goals and gets past players so easily and that's what people like to see. But Fabregas is the best at his department, his passing and vision is second to none and messi is best at his department maybe we would get a better idea if both players played in the same league. Personally i dont think messi would be THAT good in the PL. That's only my opinion. Both great players, play way ahead of their age.

dont both of em play midfield? one plays in the middle and the other on the outside.. alot of times messi gets pushed up to the center and dribbles thru everybody in the middle and then shoots.. and im from europe, been watching futbol my whole life, played it since i was 4 and still play it.. so i think i'd know something bout it..

yes but fabregas and keane is an easier comparison due to them playin in the same positions messi an attacking player whereas fabregas dictates the pace of the game just as keane did. plus both fabregas and keane have mean streaks messi doesn't. in my opinion messi is the best foward at the moment and fabregas is the best in the middle of the park at the moment especially when u consider there ages

i have to be honest. i think messi is a great player and a fantastic finisher but i get the feeling that he wouldnt be as good as he is without his speed. if you take his speed out, he wouldnt be getting past people with such easy moves. c ronaldo has similar speed but also demonstrates alot more technical savvy with the ball... not that i really like c ronaldo. I prefer fabregas, he can see everything on the field and doesnt need the ego, goal scoring, driibbling and showing off

I think that they both have to different roles with their teams. Fabregas however has excelled in putting his teamates in a position to score consistently, and his passes are amazing. In my opinion he is the best passer in the world and one of the best players in the world. Messi is a very creative player who just is a little to streaky for me dont get me wrong he is also a great player and would be placed in the top 10 in the world.

Both are great players... Both are my two favourite players. Its quite difficult to compare both of these players since they both play different roles. Fabregas I must admit is a more important gear in the Arsenal machine compared to Messi and his role at Barca. Both are incredible players and I hope that Fabregas will return to Barca and we will be able to see these two products of Barcelona make magic
