I have to admit Knight Sonic looks KINDA (emphasis on kinda) cool, but this games still looks kinda stupid. I mean seriously, Sonic with a sword? No offense Rob, but you chose a nice game to waste money on

Why do people always have to bash Sonic? So there's a different mechanic this time around. It's sad i mean nobody complained "omg mario in space. this is stupid" so why complain when sonic tries something new

the thing is, and this is my opinion, but galaxy wasnt completely different. the mario platformers have had variety and went all over the place, and it didnt stray far from the platforming that mario is good for.and mario in space was a cool idea. sonic has always been for racing. unleashed was a cool idea, and even the werehog kinda was, going back to the adventure series, which i thought was good. but sonic with a sword? thats way far away from the racing sonic. thats personal opinion tho

also, galaxy was a great game. i havent played sonic since heroes came out, but the critical response hasnt been very great, even among the main games, like unleashed. mario spinoffs are pretty bad tho. the platformers are the only good ones

well i say that black knight wasnt ment to be so much of racing or watever because its part of the storybook series which so far have been really different than other sonic games.

i see nothing wrong with sonic with a sword. its a perfect sequel to secret rings. but i am a huge sonic fan so i see how some people could disagree but i dont see how they could hate it.

i'll be perfectly honest. at first i was like "oh first a gun now a sword SEGA wtf!?" but after watching a few gameplay vids and trailers, it looked pretty awesome. And it is an awesome game. not a waste of money at all

Well, I was not a fan of Secret Rings, and pokemonsonic does raise a point. It isn't a main Sonic game, and Secret Rings standards, it is a good sequel. But, it still strays far away from the MAIN Sonic games, and Sonic or not, usually spin-offs like this don't turn out well. I haven't played it, though.

because it altered the gameplay greatly. I haven't played blackknight but if its anything like unleashed (similar reviews) its pretty bad. The game itself might not be so bad but its not a sonic game without the high-speed racing through levels just as mario wouldn't be the same without jumping from platforms and hopping on koopas
