My friend, a Filipino, went to Indonesia. They dined in a restaurant there and my friend wanted an extra plate. The waiter can't speak English so he doesn't understand what is a plate. Even with hand gestures, the communication still failed. Then his wife told my friend in Tagalog (a Filipino language) and she said, "Huwag ka na humingi ng pinggan."
