love LoM, where's lindisfarne fit in,don't give me the dream seller bit, set in the 70's, first thing i would do ! sign up Floyd, Zep & Sabbath., Then Annie the words our oyster, lol
This is such an upbeat, uplifting song and it's a song that reminds me of 70's culture. I love it and only wish I had discovered this work or art earlier.
love it.just reminds me of my primary school days.wakeing up freezeing with frost on the inside of the windows and all standing round the fire...good old days..
YOu stinking geordie ***********,haha, just messing! Why are you called geordie anyway? You English even hate each other, lol! English are sooo tough but also hateful and NUTS!!!!!!
@jocksmen I dont know any geordies but the ones I've seen on tv seem cool. They are like Liverpool people, both with odd accents and very musical! Oh and both are mad about football!;))
I was born in 1965 an remember my first Chopper in purple-looked cool but a very heavy bike. My first car was a 72 Cortina and what i'd give to have one again.
I commented 5 months ago, and then 4 months ago. I listen to this song regularly, and it STILL makes me want to get in my car and meet at the corner. I love it...
great video guys, great vid. im touch with a respected Icelandic video production company who Im sure will be more than pleased to fund any further projects you might have in mind. Let me know babs. chow
Meet me on the corner when the lights are coming on And I'll be there, I promise I'll be there Down the empty streets we'll disappear into the dawn If you have dreams enough to share
I've really liked this song since I fist heard it on an 'oldies' radio station in the late 1980s. I'm glad that it was included in the Life On Mars soundtrack :)
Which episode of Life on Mars is this in?
fan1odw 8 months ago
@fan1odw Episode 8 of series one. It's playing in the background near the end at the party.

Loverly stuff from the Geordie masters.
Another of the greatest albums of all time, recorded at the legendary Trident Studios in London, on the best-sounding mixing console ever designed...
This was the golden age of recording.

when you are older you will realise that what you like is ....... what you like.
When i grew up in 70s you had be either; Rocker, Punk, Ted, Mod, Soul Boy etc and that was it.
Now i appreciate all types of music - thats my business !
This is a great song anyway.
