In a way i'd say he is what he kills since he is willing to go to lower depths of morality in order to do what is right, not according to law, but what is right by the heart. I do think they need a faster-paced and more combat-oriented sequel, though- Frank's origin story can be told at the pace that it was without trouble, but that's because the plot itself is involving. Give us moral ambiguity in the sequel... but a lot more guns, too.

I have two views on that. Warzone shows the punisher better with more action and gruesome deaths. But The punisher 2004 is a great revenge movie and i think it is superior to Warzone. Besides in The punisher 2004 he isnt really the punisher until the end when he says Frank Castle is dead. The rest of the film he thinks of him as alive ( leaving his tombstone on the golf course with removed date of death.)

I have two views on that. Warzone shows the punisher better with more action and gruesome deaths. But The punisher 2004 is a great revenge movie and i think it is superior to Warzone. Besides in The punisher 2004 he isnt really the punisher until the end when he says Frank Castle is dead. The rest of the film he thinks of him as alive ( leaving his tombstone on the golf course with removed date of death.)

@Riddickmofo The first one with Dolph Lundgren is pretty cool as well. He pretty much starts with the mafia then goes on to kill the Yakuza. Leaving a knife with a skull at the end of the handle as a trademark. Pretty awesome movie.

@DrSpangle107 Its all opinion and everything but I considered it a perfect blending of Year One and Welcome Back Frank and considered many of the changes to work very well. I dont know why everyone bashes it because I put it in my top 5 Marvel Movies definitely.
