  • Record Company gets about 60% of the sales profit. Distributors 20-30%. Artists usually get 5-15%. Its cool tho cuz WMG has blocked this video in the U.S. now on copyright grounds.

  • they dont need the support trust me!

  • thanks we all can't afford things these days

  • This band makes me feel hope for the future!

  • I want a girl thats great to look at...

  • This version is up a pitch too high. Must have been done so it would bypass copyright.

  • definitely BUY their music. the van on the album cover is what they toured in for quite a while.

  • seen these live in manchester and when they played i nearly died it was amazing and they had a huge disco ball too!! :D

  • @cmhidalgo Just so you know, artists need to find a way to earn money, too. It's true that free music allows you to discover artists, but it's also that you should buy their new material. When they know that they have fans, and they can do shows, and they can become popular, get money and live with their music. What industry didn't get: their bands become popular cause they get known, cause some put their music freely on the Internet, and people buy their stuff afterwards because they love them.

  • @GeekJustice When you buy an album, the money goes to a record company. Go to their concert if you want to support the artist.

  • @cmhidalgo Oh, okay then. And remember me who pays the shows? Who advertises the artists? Who publishes their material? All these things may bring money, but they cost money, too. If they didn't bring money, then it'd be a negative business and only the already rich people could make music. And also, they DO earn money from album and song sales. Only, they need to sell a lot of albums to get a significative paycheck, but they DO get money from label companies for their work.

  • @GeekJustice Google 'do artists get money from album sales'

Whatever YOU say buddy.... but I go to concerts to support bands. Who uses CDs?

Was making a mixtape in the 90's illlegal and unsupportive of the band?

Recording songs from a local radio station?

Why do we have technological devices that allow to record audio visual information if we can't use it to record things we like that are publicly presented freely?

Why not use what we know to save some money instead of go broke. Marketing.

  • @cmhidalgo the thing is they aren't publicly presented freely..... they HAVE COPRIGHTS..... and because it is illegal, and it should be...

  • @DrumsetPlayer13 These are presented freely. In fact my original post was a reply to someone complaining the pitch is off or too high. Possibly in order to keep it on youtube. I'm saying dont complain about free music or else go find another source. Going to a concert is an actual way to support a band. If you buy the album the record company gets the money. Google it.

  • @cmhidalgo Not all of the money goes to the record company. It just depends on the contract. You could also record your own music, and get it out there...

  • This track is close to teh actual sex (mm)

  • @CandySxx

    I think I love you.

  • @allmitchell

Saw them in Nottingham...it would be unrequited love... *hug*... I love another :)

  • @cmhidalgo seems to me like you're the one complaining. so fuck you shitbag! go USA!

  • Very cool tune! The Black Keys kick mucho ass....

  • My mom brought me home this thing from Starbucks with a code to get this song free.

    I love my mom.

    And Starbucks.

    And The Black Keys.

  • hmm, 4 people wont be using youtube for much longer.

  • I hate new music I like old types

  • @robloxcallofduty4 not all new music is bad....this for example. I mostly listen to oldies from the 1950s through the 1970s and while I agree the VAST MAJORITY of mainstream music is horrible, to say its ALL bad is untrue. There is still good stuff out there....you just have to look for it.

  • @classiccarguy93 Yeahh, stay open minded, man =)

  • @classiccarguy93 exactly!!!, theres always gonna be good stuff around....check out casper and the howling

  • ETC awards

  • what a band!!

  • Que buen ALBUM!!!!!! este es El Camino ;)

  • @Sebaatero Pienso lo mismo!

  • Didn't expect so much arguing on the comments lol =). Black Keys!!!

  • Im happy these guys got popular and i am even happier to say that i like the band before they got popular. Such a hipster i am.

  • @SuperSonicPsykic good ;D

  • In Fact I like this

  • im 16...im heavy into AC/DC...old music...i hate new artist....but the black keys...you just got yourself a new fan...you guys are great

  • Some people will say that music must always progress but when I listen the last albums I keep on thinking that It is not the Black Keys in this album, The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness, Rubber Factory, Magic Potion, Attack & Realese, Brothers... I think that this album is very interesting but where is the blues ? I believed that they will keep Blues alive ! However I enjoy.

  • @acdc192837465 you bring alot on yourselfs by refusing to pronounce words the way they are spelt. I'll give you an example. Say the following words aloud the way you think they should sound: mom, butler, shut-up. Now did you say mom as mum, butler as butla, and shut-up as sha-up? But the one that really annoys me is retarded. You yanks always say rataaardad! You should learn how to pronounce your own name you racist bitch.

  • @SpencerBoechler I'm not British. I'm American.

  • i actually like the slightly higher pitch

  • my neighbours like this song so much, they threw rocks at my windows to hear it better xD

  • Wolf Gang

  • Wu tang

  • Humans are pretty ignorant in general. Americans seem to be excessive in some of the worst attributes as well. WHERE DAT ALIEN P*SSY AT.

  • Best Album of 2011 in my opinion.

  • you are a tool, buy the music!

  • they are gods. no doubt

  • whos the one buzz kill that disliked this

  • 医 腕 間どっ議絵!!!!

    ♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪

  • i fuuuckkin love this song, should be on the top billboards already!

  • sounds like hidalgo is complaining more than Us Americans.... must be French or something. Huhh huhh weee weee

  • I just gave you about 50 views. You're welcome

  • @gmcleod37 did you watch on 50 different devices? because if not then it only counts as 1

  • Great song!! just love black keys:D

  • Repeat: Holy shit, this is SEX.

  • @cmhidalgo Were if it wasn't for us Americans, you wouldn't have the Black Keys!

  • @acdc192837465 Lol guys, I'm a f*cking American, for real. Doesn't mean we're not ignorant.

  • @cmhidalgo Yeah I know we are but it's just British people annoy me because apparently we're all stupid to them.

  • @acdc192837465 You bring alot of that on yourselves by refusing to pronouNce words the way they're spelt. I'll give you an example. Say the following words out loud the way you THINK they should sound:- Sterile, Furtile, Futile. Now, did you suceed or did you miss the letter "i" out of every sing one of them? But the one which REALLY annoys me is "Jaguar" you yanks say "JagWar" Where is the "W" prey tell?

  • @ricchardo maybe its because our "yank" dialect is more advanced than yours and we can figure out different ways of pronouncing words that sound right to us

  • @juiceEjuice12 On the contrary, Pronouncing words which fly-in-the-face of the way which "YOU" spell them (Nevermind us) is anything but "Advanced" It's simply WRONG and that's regardless of whether or not it "Sounds" right to you. I'm sorry you didn't like my honest answer to your question but at least you now know the truth.

  • @acdc192837465 The black keys are a canadian band, they would still be here even if there were no americans

  • @giuliettiman It's pretty arrogant of him to say that but if there were no americans than the black keys would lose their music style too

  • @giuliettiman Actaully, the Black Keys are an American band formed in Akron, Ohio in 2001. So, they wouldn't be here. But who cares where they're from. Let's just rock out!

  • @cmhidalgo Why pirate these guys. Black Keys deserve support broski.

  • @CaptainDavianThuleII B*tch plz. Go to their concert. I am.

Guys have several commercials, they good.

  • @CaptainDavianThuleII People were saying the pitch was off or too high. I guess in order to post it on youtube. I don't know. I suggest finding another way to listen. Maybe go to the concert =P

  • @CaptainDavianThuleII I actually like to listen to an album before i buy it. I went onto a site to download and you only get clips. Now iv heard it properly im going to buy the CD.

  • @cmhidalgo Fuck USA

  • @pablobenitez1 Fuck you

  • @cmhidalgo Yes, those stupid Americans and their dumb intellectual property laws that actually pay artists like The Black Keys.

  • @wolperdj1 Lol you mean the $250,000 commercials they have? When you buy an album, the money goes the record company. Go to their concert if you want to support the artist.

I'm an American BTW. I know how stupid we can be.

  • holy SHIT that is awful.

  • @kswindl go die in a hole. and not one of those nice holes with soft soil either, one of those rocky holes full of bugs.

  • good lord, would you rather have slightly raised pitch, or no music??? I'm pretty sure I'd take the high pitch.

  • everyone commenting about the pitch expecting results is fucking retarded, if you want to listen to the song with its released state buy the album, the pitch is raised because of youtubes terms of use..

  • I'm pretty sure you didn't fuck with the pitch, so if you didn't, thank you.

  • @fynoda Just compared with the original on iTunes--the pitch is indeed raised. :/

  • <3

  • I love this!
