Thanks for the great video. I've also been to Uganda twice to work with Watoto. It was an incredible experience both times. Don't worry about the comments posted by odubhain3215. Some people hate God and Christians so much they'll turned anything we do into an act of wrong doing. If odubhain3215 respects the people of Africa more than we do, let's see him (or her) go there and help build a house or a classroom for orphans.
God bless Watoto and all the people who lend their support.
odubhain has a point, many of these charity. I am fed up of people who come to resue africa people, they are paid hips of money under the pretex of saving "Africa kids" i really i'm!!! no wonder the ordinary people in the west are fed up of the same miserabel images!!
dont put out your opinion out there unless u have your facts straight. nobody pays us to go to africa to VOLUNTEER. missionary work is done from the heart to give back to ppl who need it the most. we come out of our own pockets to pay for these sorts of trips. it's going to cost me about $8000 to VOLUNTEER for the watoto community for 2 months which includes transportation, accommodations, and health insurance and nobody is helping me pay for it expect the ppl who write my hard earned pay checks
Parasites, charlatans spreading their particular American form of thinly-veiled insanity and sucking the life-blood out of the world's poor for their own perverted ends. Makes me ill. Just another arm of the new American empire. The flip-side is carpet bombing villages. I suggest your next mission should be preaching on the streets of Baghdad. See if jesus will save you.
well if i do go there [which i doubt that will happen] i'll let you know how it turns out and if i die at least i know that i'll have eternal life .... how about you?
praise God! Thanks for remembering the widows and orphans. Awesome work. But what is missions work? Please don't forget that there are still 2.7 billion who have never heard the Gospel. Percentagewise Uganda has more Evangelical Christians than any other nation in the world - 46%. Support a native missionary in Asia for $30/month. They go to the unreached peoples. (PS, what was the water pool thing in the video?)
missionary work: people get together [usually members of a church] and raise money to either send to where they want to help or go to a place [in the u.s or overseas] and help [volunteer] to those who need it most. they usually reach out to communities and tell them about God. the water pool thing is either the baptism pool or where they clean themselves or just a pond sort of thing but most likely its probably a baptism pool

all the team members paid their own flights and costs, and raised all the money that it costs to build the classroom.
when you start recognizing those kind of selfless sacrifices then i'll start taking your comments seriously.
how many thousands of dollars have you given to orphans this year?
