I used to have a void cube but one of the corners exploded into like 4 different pieces for some reason and i couldnt find them all :( so its sitting on my dresser with a corner missing and some of the interior corner pieces in a little pile.

yes it is, but because you have a 50% chance of not solving it the right way, you hit a parity error because you put the denters in the "wrong" place. two corner pieces wind up in a swapped position. this happens exactly the same and exactly in the same way on any 4x4x4 cube! :D :D :D

I took mine apart like you see in my video.

1. Turn the top layer 45 degrees, and pull off the top four corners.(They are hard to pull off. Use some force.)

2. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry up three of the top 4 edges. (Be careful the edges can come apart. Even so, you need to put some force into it.)

3. The third top edge will come off without popping.

4. Move the cube around until in disintegrates.

5. Put it together like I did in the video, starting with the bottom layer.

a void cube has rails, therefore center pieces are not nessicary

I was a bit scared, but I needed to know how it worked!

1st I turned a layer 45 degrees and popped off the top four corners. Next I used a flat head screw-driver to pop 3 of the top 4 edges. The 4th edge can then be taken off without popping. Then the rest falls apart as you turn each layer.

You need to be careful about popping the edges because they are made from two plastic pieces glued together and they could come apart. Worst case you will have to glue them back together.

Definitely lube it! It's pretty stiff out of the box. I first just popped one corner off and squirted lube in it. Later I disassembled the entire puzzle and coated each piece with silicon. It's now much smother!
