we had the Grumman Flxible's here in NYC back in the early 80s. Problem with them was that they werent so Flxible. Axles kept breaking & other structural problems forced the MTA to retire them early in favor of the RTSII

I know thats right man, Flxible ruled!!!!!! Its so fun to drive as the RTSes, not lame O Low Floors like Gilligs Advantage, NABI or New Flyer.

A 1986 Flxible Metro B. From the way the bus sounds when it takes off, sounds like it came from WMATA.
