  • thanks andrea haha!! nice movie..just watched this in webmovietube

  • A trailer can make any film look good...just keep that in mind.

  • nice movie

  • if money cant buy happiness it can buy pretty much everything else which can lead to happiness

  • Anyone knows the name of the song?

  • Looks awesome. Cant wait!

  • Looking forward to seeing this movie!

  • in my opinion, rich is the person with a little live well.

  • B.S. is right.

  • STUPID POO!

  • I haven't seen the movie but this is a shitty trailer

  • Hey everyone - I was one of the editors of this amazing movie, directed by an all-star group of documentary filmmakers - opens October 1st - check it out!

  • Make sure you see this movie in theaters or download it from iTunes. The book was excellent!

  • Wow - people are greedy! Who knew?

  • @ujean56

We aren't greedy, we are animals.

  • WHY IS MY SCHOOL IN THIS SO MANY TIMES THAT KID I TALK TO THAT KID AND I SEE ALL MY CLASSMATES WTF! my ghetto school does not belong in a movie.

  • Is there any chance that the movie also comes with subtitles? I have the book but I rather to watch the movie with subtitles. ¡¡POR FAVOR!!

  • I now want to eat an Aporangeple

  • did anyone else think the music got really really REALLY generic-documentary at about 0:58 ?

  • @aussiepalti hahaha, yes it did!

  • @all. when theres a small incentive to cheat ? a small percentage will okayiknow[dot]com

  • The King of Kong= My fav movie

  • OMG I cannot wait!!

  • i read this for my english class

  • It looks like it's just repeating what's in the book. I hope they have something that wasn't in the book otherwise there is no point in seeing it if it's going to tell me something I already know.

  • @Katoi5 I think the movie is for spreading the word of the book to the audience who have not read the book.

  • zz boring

  • @thericodino retard. then go watch something mindless and shallow. you'll probably enjoy that.

  • yes i loved this book!!!

  • Did anyone else notice the people at 1:12 have the same names as the people in the TV show The Office. And they're in an office.

    Ironic.

  • @iMoeKingg That's not ironic, that's just a coincidence. For something to be ironic there has to be a situation where the exact or near opposite of what is expected occurs. The Wikipedia definition states it concisely: "a discrepancy between the expected result and actual results when enlivened by perverse appropriateness." What you see in this trailer is not that.

  • I'm going to watch the movie then read the book.

That kid's awesome "Money can't buy happiness? Wanna bet?"

    Classic

  • I'm crossing my fingers that this is good! I loved the book!

  • thumbs up if you are sure that peter rallis will send you again here ! LOL

  • very interesting book. recommend it

  • honestly who asks a kid if money can buy u happiness? I bet the parents barely spend anytime with him, he doesn't give a damn of how the parents earn it and cares only about the thing he can get. Also wtf about Black people and white people are very different. Look through out thousands of years the human race has split up migrating to different countries and what not. Let me just say this, we all have 2 eye, 1 mouth, 2 ears, 2 leg, 2 arms. Another thing we all have in common is survival.

  • @MillyPopa Money can indeed buy happiness if you know what to spend it on. Sure a ton of toys buys false happiness, but having enough money to spend quality time with your children instead of working a multitude of jobs and coming home drained . With enough money to circle the globe together to learn & experience other cultures can indeed buy happiness. Having enough money to live in a house filled with books & enough money to provide your kids with quality food can make one very happy indeed

  • @ayumikoshiro truer words hav never been said, u are a wise youtube watcher :)

  • @ayumikoshiro Money cannot buy you a loving family to spend time with or circle the globe with or provide a house filled with books for. The things that make most people truly happy in life (such as finding true love or having a healthy child) are things that cannot be bought.

  • @uhnetisanti very well spoken

  • @ayumikoshiro dnt u need to have the family and health u cant buy these two things they are given from god bro

  • @ayumikoshiro

My friend was brought up with stimulating books, good food and excellent parenting by working class parents. Money is only useful to a point, happiness at it's core is a talent, not a thing.

  • @ayumikoshiro that's the dream but how many people really live it?

  • @ayumikoshiro

Money can buy sex. and sex is awesome

  • @ayumikoshiro You are confusing necessary and sufficient conditions. A certain minimum standard of living (and, therefore, a certain minimum level of material wealth) may be necessary to achieve happiness, but material wealth in itself is not sufficient for happiness. You will not be happy if you are able to spend time with your children but you have an angry and impatient mind; nor will you be happy if you can travel the world yet you are close-mined, prejudiced and fearful.

  • @yallip1 I don't think that ayu is confusing these terms. I think you misunderstood the point that she was trying to make. Ayu was not saying that happiness is not dependant on perception, as it seems you are incinuating. Ayu was just giving hypothetical examples of situations where money, really can bring someone happiness.

  • @Theinnocentbot I understood her comment in exactly the same way as you. Though the confusion here might be an issue of semantics, I fear that her choice of words is reflective of a deeper misconception. She stated that "money can indeed buy happiness if you know what to spend it on." I am saying that money can only buy the conditions necessary for the attainment of happiness, rather than buying happiness itself. Ultimately, it is not money that brings you happiness but your state of mind.

  • @MillyPopa That last part was offensive to amputees and dead people.

  • They say money doesn't buy happiness... wanna bet? lol love that kid

  • I dont get it ??

  • Freakonomics is a song by Clutch

  • I'll definitely watch this when it comes out.

  • I'm watchin it! Loved both books.

  • what song is in the trailer?

  • this looks interesting

  • looks interesting

  • Shoooey, is right on the money!

  • noooooooooo freakonomics into a movie? let people read the fucking book... the book is brilliant don't ruin it

  • @joekwuen what? is someody going to make a freaking book about this movie?

  • @AlmightyBrazil no ... the movie is based on a book called freakonomics...

    my all time favorite book

honestly, everyone should grab a copy and start reading

  • @joekwuen I didnt REALLY get what this is about - i know its economics - guess its how money affects everything?-- or doesnt? :S

  • Dunno bout you, but I am SO looking forward to being spoon-fed 'unconventional' factoids by 'rogue economists' and self-important journalists with bad haircuts. With music by MOBY!!!

Protip: if you're excited by this, please kill yourself.

  • Testing new model? First on iTunes and almost a month later in theaters?

  • I am freaking out I am so excited!
