I have a feeling you would have been disgusted with the manner in which he treated his wife. It's one thing to sit your spouse down and be honest and open about what you feel is a problem or a behavior that needs improving, but his vid was more degradation than anything else.
the value in watching those kids must be measured in light of the role the children will play as you age or become in need of care if injured. when others babysit your kids, the kids learn what the sitter shows them, not necessarily what you would.
so when the time comes for those kids to make decisions with you or about you (dr., nursing home, food, shelter comfort, company, etc)
be sure they learned what you want them to know and the attitude that you want them to have. later is too late.
As far as whether or not the vid is "for real", one can never be sure when it comes to the net, but if it is, this guy is a gigantic prick for humiliating his wife, and then posting it on youtube, something you can bet she was completely unaware of.
