Yeah, no. Osama was not an exclusive leader, he was one of many, if anything all this does is leave a power gap for another couple of guys to fill. It's not like Cobra Command, where without the Cobra Commander they're finished.
There's a lot of things to say on this issue, none of which are going to be seen as popular (making it 'unacceptable' because Murrika wants to believe what they're told to believe). Don't be naive.

I do think killing Bin Laden changes only one thing: Al Qaeda people hate America's guts more than anything now
and I don't know what to think of the existence of Osama or Al Qaeda, so if it does exist, I don't think they'll be very happy about their leader being killed.
So yeah, it certainly doesn't bring any peace..

I too find it interesting that Bin Laden was found and dispatched right about election time. This is one American who isn't rejoicing over the death of this man. His death doesn't stop the other terrorists and it doesn't bring peace. Just more war and retribution. Peace out.
