Mainz am Rhein Teil II

I'm from Scotland, but I lived in Mainz from2003 - 2006. It's a great place to live because it combines city/peace quite well I think. Nothing beats a walk along the Rhine to the Maaraue Bad for a dip in the middle of summer. Bliss! You guys forgot to include the moustachioed guy that sits in the Augustinerstrasse and nonchalantly sips coffee in a yellow dress. Not to mention Mr Cool Ice (ihr wisst ja ganz genau, wen ich meine!)

Congratulations! Beautiful pics of a beautiful town! Btw: Mainz ...must be the hometown of a certain Peter Cornelius, who wrote some hair-raising Iraqi (caution!!) Opera - BARBIER VON BAGDAD. Or am I mistaken? Is there any Cornelius House? Where do I get Cornelius Souvenirs? Cornelius-Beer? Did he also compose the famous NARHALLA MARCH?

The Narhalla-Marsch has been composed by Carl Zulehner who was also a Mainzer. But The Barbier von Bagdad is one of the greatest pieces anyway: "OOOOOOHHH MAGIANAAAAAA!!" "SALAMALEEEEEEIIIIKUM!"
