I disagree with sacking your lings. You lose the ability to deal with small ling/zealot/dt raids against your nat and main, unless you plan to keep your mutas stationed around your base all game long.
Also, by saving your lings you gain the ability to prevent the zerg from expanding while you're harrassing his main with mutas. You just give up map control, which is always bad in 2v2.
Yes, as i said i should have even used them for picking off like 1-2 drones, but i was in a situation where i did have gas but i didn't have extra larvae. I also didn't have spore so i really wanted to have the extra limit for 2-3 more muta just to be on the safe side when fighting muta vs muta.
I agree with you. But on this situation i think it was a good call, tho i could've saved like 2-4 just to for scouting or smth. They also could've been of some help when my ally raided the protoss main / nat.
