Hi great shooting i had Theoban Eliminator and i used to shoot through the neck of dumpy beer bottles and knock out the bottoms at 175yds without knocking them off the fence and that was a break barrel with gas ram
@gunlovingcragrat It ain't me full of BULLSHIT mate, take a look in the mirror ! Or read the comments where several other people have done it too. upload your videos before you start calling other if you have any ball :-)
I am so jealous of you guys and your 12ft/lbs law... I love canada, but its drives me nuts that we're so tightly restricted with air guns.
In order for me to shoot 200 yards even, I would have a 50 foot drop from my current zero at 45 yards. My barrel would be tilted almost 35 degrees in order to reach that 234" plateau that would literally drop my pellet anywhere close to my target...
@1chronicpls Hello my Canadian friend :-) I am sure it is very annoying. In the UK we have a sub 12ftlbs limit so the lager the pellet the slower it must travel to stay with in the law but as I understand it you are limited to 499fps which is odd as you could fire a 1kg slug which would kill someone I am sure! The people who think up these laws are not the brightest. I had to have a massive amount of hold over for this shot at 790fps 8.4grains
@cubleycat its really weird! we have energy and velocity, but the two only really work in .177 cal since anything above that exceeds the energy law. But then its strange, if a guy built a 9mm air rifle that shot under 495 fps it would be legal, however a .22 call rifle shooting a 15.9gr pellet at 495 fps is legal until someone puts a 14.3gr pellet through since it now exceeds energy laws and velocity because in .22 cal 14.3 gr pellets are a standard. I wish it was just energy!
Way to go girl don't let the doubter's get to you jealousy's a terrible thing. As for Hull cartridge sponsoring you You'll need to kill thing's like edgun over 100 yd's with an air rifle then they'll be queuing up to chuck rifle's at you, mind you you may have to move over the pond. Atb Girl

I was only messing has I'm not really bothered in stupid air guns! Just felt in a wind up mood lol.. You should get a firearms license though due to the amount pcp cost! 22lr or 17hmr is alot of fun
@Tristy1987 I guessed you were only messing ;-) I worry too much about where the bullet ends up with 22lr or 17hmr :- [ .A hmr isn't cheap to run either.
Congrats to you. The wee little .177 would probably out shoot the .22 because velocity isn't the same.....just fpe is. So the .22 would need a great arcing path to come close. Keep shooting and I'll keep watching.
@mucckker You can do it with .22, I have done it with mine and about another 20mtrs past. I use a hawke sidewinder 8-32 x 56 mm mil dot scope. Hardest part is having a day with no wind, best time is very early morning with low air pressure.
Good shooting anyway, but are you sure that this is a 800fps ? ist took about 2 sec. to hit the target, mabey the pressure was low, i dont know, but 800 fps are about 250m/s, so it had to took max. 0,8 - 1 sec.
Them 177's have a lovely flat trajectory which means you can be very accurate at longer ranges on the legal power limit. If that was .22 you'd have to aim somewhere near the top of the tree to hit the cans or have it tuned up to FAC levels.
wow! very impressive! i wish i had somethin like that ! do you think a cheaper rifle like mine could hit at a distance like that? i have seen some reviews and they say that it is a very accurate rifle.....
hey. i am curious. what is the fps on this gun? i saw you cock the bolt back and it seemed like you gave almost no effort. is that just the system, and it is a high fps, or is it really lower and just really accurate? i have a crosman g1 extreme, and it SEEMS pretty accurate. please reply?
@snowsk81 It is 800 fps .177 = 16joules/12ftlbs. These rifles are one of the most accurate ones on the market at just over £700, you might think that's expensive (not saying it cheap) but there are plenty which are much more money than that and no better. It is the easiest rifle to cock that I have ever used, it is an excellent smooth cocking system and has the easiest 14shot mag to load on the market too. I sound like a sales rep lol, I wish I had a quid for every time someone bought one :-)
@cubleycat do you think my gun could make a shot like this? it seems pretty accurate, and ive seem good comment on the accuracy. what is your opinion? i may at some point try my gun at a shot like this and if it can make it then i will tape a video of it for you. ok?
try doing it without the bipod, you seemto be good with it but it is a hole different thing at those ranges without one, i shoot for my school team with the l98 a2 rifle, obviously more powerful haha but its more enjoyabel i find without something to rest on
i guess you had a few non believers judging from your pop up comments on the vid, shall we say your gone and proved them wrong haha!! this is some excellent shooting indeedy!!
As a owner of a HW100 .177 I can only pull my head. I know my will print me an 1/2" pattern at 50m with 14 pellets, but I thought the pellets would start to spin out after about 80-100m. Guess you proved me wrong! And I need a 200m range!!
what distance did you sight in ?...how many mils did you hold for 200 m ?..and pellet weight please...thank you so much im gonna try and rig mine for long range too...VERY good shootin...keep the good work up:)
@garebear601 For this shot I set my scope 300mm high at 10meters, overall it is about 10 meters above the final target! so put a target out at 10meters and set the scope 300mm above the aim point, that will give you a starting point and I used a JSB 8.4 or anything the same wieght and ballistic coefficient proterties, then pray you manage to hit the tiny target LOL, it is hard to set the scope just right!
@PinkyPurply Thanks ;-) It was just a looser shooter who called the police, not only have my rifles been tested now many others have done the shot too now.
with it being a 177 the pellet must fly at a tremendous velocity to reach 12flbs owing to its light weight, hence its great accuracy and distance capabilities!
i love the hw100..its the best gun i have ever had..have you seen my videos..am shooting mine at nearly 90 yards..in 22 at 12 ftbs. and still smash beer bottles at that range..impressive i no..
i have a crossman G1 extreme in .177 that i use to kill squirrels at 100 yards. i havent messed with it. all stock parts. i dont see a need for a $500+ air rifle. especially since i can go and buy myself a real nice real steel piece for that :P lol
Nice one. Inspired by your self I'm getting my old boinger set up for a long range plinking session, should be a frustrating laugh but that's what It's all about, personal achievement & fun.
@BigDuke6ixx hehe I sure did my friend, they use calculators to say its not possible I say try it! ;-) did you know they had to delete the first thread on their forum as it was getting out of hand but some one started a second one, not sure if is still running though!
@Papakolea464 Ft lbs means foot pounds, if you have a 5ft lbs rifle its power will lift a 1lb weight 5ft, so if you have a 12ft lbs rifle it will lift the 1lb weight 12ft. Simples ;)
@Papakolea464 Feet per second and foot pounds are completely different. Foot pounds is the power generated by the gun, feet per second is the rate at which the pellet/projectile travels, it can vary depending on what grain (weight) pellet you use.
just getting into air rifles after 25 yr break. i bought a new air arms s510 carbine super lite . bullseye accurate at 30yrds zero .but i would have no idea as to mill-dots at 200m or would it be just to much holdover for the scope when its zeroed as mine is?
great shooting i have a lot of practising to do to get to your level.
Just bought my Wife this Riffle and after a brief intro by the sales lady my wife promptly shot 14 HFT targets out OF 14, 2 of which were reduced to 5cm @ 40 yards using Bisley Super Domes, smiles all round. I'm a believer

great shooting cubley any doubters out there must seriously be lacking in skill and paitience to shoot at distance with sub 12ftlb all my air rifles are sub 12ftlbs and most manage 200 meters with clever scopeing keep on shooting cubley your a great shot very impressive
nice one there young lady, i got myself a hw100 .22 today, as i already have a rapid 17 in .177.... rather excellent shooting there, hats off, i really need to sort out my long range work for both rifles, not for game but for targets, and to get used to the mildots as i aint used my rapid for a while...................but seriously, well done on proving them pesky doubters wrong
tried searching for powdermonkey78 to see what he can do but he seems to have run off. jealousy is a terrible thing, just 'cause he can't do it it can't be done, not the attitude to approach life with.
Well done very impressive, I have a weirauch hw100k carbine thumbhole, in .22, love the gun, only been shooting about two months, I know .177 are better for accuracy as they have flatter trajectory, but I chose .22 as I decided it would be better for hunting, I can only hope that I can become halff as good as yourself,
WOW!!! I have a .22 HW100 Mk1 and it's super accurate and I would've thought 70m would be pushing it. But 200m with a .177? That is incredible. I'll definitely do some more range work now. I use 16gr Logun Penetrators in mine and I've got an MTC Viper 10x44 Mil-Dot on top. I wonder what the BC is with the .177 'cos I bet it loses a lot of sting at that range. Either way that is bloody impressive. Are you on the AirgunBBS? You should put the video on there, that'll generate a lot of interest.
Thats a good setup, the 16gr Logun Penetrators is a very good choice in my view. I would expect a .177 has a better BC than a .22. I am on AirgunBBS, "cubleycat" PM me ;-)
I can confirm this, ive done the same with my 177 HW100 at this range. Mine is also 12 ftlb To be honest i don't think we can adjust the power on mine or hers as ours are late 'tamerproof models'
In South Africa we dont have power restrictions only caliber restrictions. I have two HW 100's a 4.5mm in 28ft.lbs and a 5.5mm 39ft/lbs. Brilliant rifles. Anything above 5.59mm and power exceeding 6 joules must be licensed.
no you don't and you prob never will so i won't bother all i will say is when i say bunny i mean a wild rabbit not something that you get from pets at home lol and after all rabbits were brought to this country for one reason FOOD
who would call the pigs what a bunch of busy bodys its a bad thing that you can't up the power yourself this is england we used to rule the world and yet its the islands that we used to ship all our inmates to that get all the fun its bullshit a 200m shot is just that a shot its not gona do much damage to anything at that range would rather see a bunny get fucked at 35yrds thanks
there's no doubt in my mnd that this shot is capable of being made with a 12ft/lb hw100! ive had mine for around 3yrs and have achieved some imprssive shots with it. i check my zero at 35 yards with a piece of paper 15mm in diameter! with a nikkon sterling laserking scope the hunting/target world is easy!
That is excellent shooting there. Too bad you are limited to using air rifles. Nice job, i can believe that an air rifle is capable of those shots but it definitely takes an excellent shooter to pull it off.
Its pretty silly that someone would call the cops over an pellet gun.
is their a law where you live prohibiting the speed limit of pellet rifles? because here in the US ive seen this rifle and it seems to move a lot faster, maybe its just me.
i don't know why these guns makes so much less notice on you tube video but in real life these air rifles are quiet loud, i was shooting my gun( lot less expensive then this one) the other day and it was making lot louder noice then this one in the video
No mine started at 11.5ftlbs, if you find 3 empty bean cans and line em up you should manage to get threw 2 and a half if not all 3 at close range, thats what my .177 does anyway! you could take it back to the shop and have it checked but give it a full tin of pellets 1st ;-)
does any1 no how much range finder cost i have . weihrauch hw100 .22 shooting bk garden kill few magpies but does anyone no good place 2 shoot on a farm i live in london cheers if i here any tips
i mentioned this video to a guy at the rifle club he shouted bullshit befor i was even really finished my sentence... there you go.. you can never tell some people..

i have a crossman G1 extreme in .177 that i use to kill squirrels at 100 yards. i havent messed with it. all stock parts. i dont see a need for a $500+ air rifle. especially since i can go and buy myself a real nice real steel piece for that :P lol

Nice one. Inspired by your self I'm getting my old boinger set up for a long range plinking session, should be a frustrating laugh but that's what It's all about, personal achievement & fun.

Airgun shooting at 200 yards, who'd have thought it were possible... Kudos to you, cubleycat. Who needs more than 12ftlb if a rifle's this accurate?

what does 12ftlb mean?
Papakolea464 1 year ago
@Papakolea464 its the power output limit !
cubleycat 1 year ago
@Papakolea464 Ft lbs means foot pounds, if you have a 5ft lbs rifle its power will lift a 1lb weight 5ft, so if you have a 12ft lbs rifle it will lift the 1lb weight 12ft. Simples ;)
No1Richman 1 year ago
@No1Richman so what is the fps of 12 foot pounds?
Papakolea464 1 year ago
@Papakolea464 Feet per second and foot pounds are completely different. Foot pounds is the power generated by the gun, feet per second is the rate at which the pellet/projectile travels, it can vary depending on what grain (weight) pellet you use.

just getting into air rifles after 25 yr break. i bought a new air arms s510 carbine super lite . bullseye accurate at 30yrds zero .but i would have no idea as to mill-dots at 200m or would it be just to much holdover for the scope when its zeroed as mine is?
great shooting i have a lot of practising to do to get to your level.

Igy hát nekünk furcsának tünik hogy 200 méterre lőnek légfegyverrel! Nekem CZ Slavia 630-am van és 90m ről már találtam vele!! Ez egy 7.5 jule alatti fegyvertől nagyon jó!! Gratulálok a fegyverhez!! @sniperlinaslavia Hello Én nem vette azt a kritikát, értem, hogy miért gondolja, hogy nem lehetséges, a mi maximális teljesítmény itt Egyesült Királyságban 16,3 J, és a lövés nem könnyű lemásolni. great shooting cubley any doubters out there must seriously be lacking in skill and paitience to shoot at distance with sub 12ftlb all my air rifles are sub 12ftlbs and most manage 200 meters with clever scopeing keep on shooting cubley your a great shot very impressive
ian77efc 1 year ago
is it really sub 12ft lb? i never know 200m would possible.. i thought the pellet would stop at like 180m...
LFCforEver12341 1 year ago
So you are basically aiming 30cm above to hit a target a 200m.
dashwood123 1 year ago
nice one there young lady, i got myself a hw100 .22 today, as i already have a rapid 17 in .177.... rather excellent shooting there, hats off, i really need to sort out my long range work for both rifles, not for game but for targets, and to get used to the mildots as i aint used my rapid for a while...................but seriously, well done on proving them pesky doubters wrong

how much is your range finder and what make is it ?
jake3583 2 years ago
Well done very impressive, I have a weirauch hw100k carbine thumbhole, in .22, love the gun, only been shooting about two months, I know .177 are better for accuracy as they have flatter trajectory, but I chose .22 as I decided it would be better for hunting, I can only hope that I can become halff as good as yourself,
mark2sharp 2 years ago
keith10284 177 are faster and more accurate than 22. your airgun may not reach 200 meters
giangos19602 2 years ago
second clip ive seen of your hw100 and getting one asap, thanks, rick.
krrbl123 2 years ago
Keith10284 2 years ago
Thats a good setup, the 16gr Logun Penetrators is a very good choice in my view. I would expect a .177 has a better BC than a .22. I am on AirgunBBS, "cubleycat" PM me ;-)

@cubleycat hi bab what range finder you using and quality shooting
hotdogrich1 1 year ago
I can confirm this, ive done the same with my 177 HW100 at this range. Mine is also 12 ftlb To be honest i don't think we can adjust the power on mine or hers as ours are late 'tamerproof models'
XysteRST205 2 years ago
What pellets did you use?

very heavy for sub 12, very loopy traj but carry far if you point them in the right direction ;)

Nice shooting cubley, but can you put a fruit pastel in your mouth without chewing ??
nerdxcore1 2 years ago
In South Africa we dont have power restrictions only caliber restrictions. I have two HW 100's a 4.5mm in 28ft.lbs and a 5.5mm 39ft/lbs. Brilliant rifles. Anything above 5.59mm and power exceeding 6 joules must be licensed.

no you don't and you prob never will so i won't bother all i will say is when i say bunny i mean a wild rabbit not something that you get from pets at home lol and after all rabbits were brought to this country for one reason FOOD
fitninoit 2 years ago
That is very true about wild rabbits being food, you never know it may come back to having to eat rabbits to survive!

if i had to hunt rabbit for food I want that gun.nice gun.Could buy that gun from the U.S.

who would call the pigs what a bunch of busy bodys its a bad thing that you can't up the power yourself this is england we used to rule the world and yet its the islands that we used to ship all our inmates to that get all the fun its bullshit a 200m shot is just that a shot its not gona do much damage to anything at that range would rather see a bunny get fucked at 35yrds thanks
fitninoit 2 years ago
Uh come on man... what's a bunny done to you?
Don't understand the hunting mentality. (please don't treat that as an excuse to educate me)
festfreddy 2 years ago
there's no doubt in my mnd that this shot is capable of being made with a 12ft/lb hw100! ive had mine for around 3yrs and have achieved some imprssive shots with it. i check my zero at 35 yards with a piece of paper 15mm in diameter! with a nikkon sterling laserking scope the hunting/target world is easy!
well done
Jradr34 2 years ago
That is excellent shooting there. Too bad you are limited to using air rifles. Nice job, i can believe that an air rifle is capable of those shots but it definitely takes an excellent shooter to pull it off.
Its pretty silly that someone would call the cops over an pellet gun.

is their a law where you live prohibiting the speed limit of pellet rifles? because here in the US ive seen this rifle and it seems to move a lot faster, maybe its just me.
drzoidberg223 2 years ago
Yeh in england the air rifles are about half the power of the ones we use in Australia, we shoot at about 28-30lbs.
berzerker17487 2 years ago
i don't know why these guns makes so much less notice on you tube video but in real life these air rifles are quiet loud, i was shooting my gun( lot less expensive then this one) the other day and it was making lot louder noice then this one in the video

No mine started at 11.5ftlbs, if you find 3 empty bean cans and line em up you should manage to get threw 2 and a half if not all 3 at close range, thats what my .177 does anyway! you could take it back to the shop and have it checked but give it a full tin of pellets 1st ;-)
