I loved the film. I agree with Kirsten, the cinematography had a few moments of soft focus, but I'm not entirely convinced that it isnt just youtube screwing things up with low resolution. I loved your lighting set up in the theatre.

The characters are quite strong, you wrote these people with personality and the actors, John and Jake did a pretty good job keeping my suspencion of belief intact. Which is hard to do if you know them personally.

I'm looking forward to whats next.

The cinematography is really nice. This is fairly obvious, but the focus was off sometimes. Also, I think that since the cinematography is so rich, the intro titles need to match that quality. I'd spend a little more time on them.

Overall, great job! Excited to see more!
