Well, I have to disagree with you; although COB is a great band, I found that cover thoroughly lacking, as it was just an exact replica of the original song...Even so, Alexi did demonstrate a more proficent solo (but who gives a shit?).

And to my knowledge, Amott has never done vocals. Johan liiva was their original frontman (and far better than that skank Angela Gossow).

Well,i have to disagree.Amott and Laiho are my idol i think COB version is far more better.And from my knowledge that i get from wikipedia amott brother are both back up and lead vocalist. and and i think that Angela is far beyond better than Johan Liiva

If I am not correct, they only provided "back-up" vocals for a few songs on one of their better albums (i.e., pre-Angela).

And as I said before, their cover of this song (done back in like 99 or 98) was just a filler to get more tracks in for Hatebreeder (their best album), that said, the style and manner in which the song was executed was sub-par.

As for the comment regarding the better frontman, I must say that Liiva was vastly superior in both feeling and style.

Well, his vocal style is derived from hardcore/grindcore bands from the late 80's...

He was actually quite influential, but sadly fell away towards the end. *sigh.

Now, most Arch Enemy fans are just fanboys "'cause of Angela 'cause she is so awesome and seckzy and hawt!" (that was an actual comment, and kind of puts the average Arch Enemy fan's intellect in perspective, that does not apply to everyone of course, lol).

I would say that Cob went downhill after Roope joined the band.

I really like the way you use towards the dead end as a funny ( if you didn't know that is a C.o.B song ) but on the wrong issue. Anyways i still find Angela far more better than Johan Liiva. even so you prove that I'm just a fan boy and regarding C.o.B i think that they went down hill since blood drunk but even so Alexi laiho is a great guitarist as well Michael Amott
