What a coincidence! This was the first episode I recorded on VHS a decade ago, and it wasnt even a complete rercording; it was a leftover at the end of the VHS, and I only saw this again like a year ago when clearing out the old tapes lol
theres even a wee hint of Romeo and Juliet (when they are drinking with the dwarfs). The scotish one is explaining the ending of a play he saw which is in reference to the part where Romeo kills himself etc. x
Verence the IInd is actually pretty cool here...cooler than Tomjon! And I wonder if they'll make new ones. The Grim Squeaker would be a great addition! And Magrat is such a wet hen... NAC MAC FEEGLE!!!
Does any of you know when (which episode of) this was first aired ? (would like to add this info into IMDb)

Actually, a little of both...=)

Haha, you're right, I just realized. My mistake.

It would make a very interesting thesis or paper to compare modern writing (like Wyrd Sisters) to that of Shakespere et al...=D

Shouldn't the playwright have recognized the women?
aarondirebear 3 years ago
The playwright DID recognise the women - that's why he told nanny what she was supposed to say :)
