  • As good as this song makes me feel, the e-motion quality within it affects you so deeply, i can't seem to help going back in time.

  • Yes Yes Yes!!! We used to get down to this one back in the 70s ...awesome song

  • @Commish---Class of 78 here---CPHS---This Fucked everything Up!

  • OMG! Memories of those awkward moments at junior school dances....boys standing against the walls and girls standing against opposite walls. Nobody wanted to be the first to make a move toward the other. Wow! Luv this song!!

  • 22 people dont shake and dance

  • so funky so funky one of the funkiest

  • Excellence personified. This song was frequently played on WWDM in Sumter, SC back in 1978. Those of us stationed at Shaw AFB back in the day remember this gem.

  • Wow another person who doesn't know good music when they hear it.........We need to help the one "dislike" appreciate true music.

Ahh, '78, graduation, this song, Stellar Fungk, I'm Ever Woman, GrooveLine......Man the memories....

  • @CommishNflpro You got that right! I'm from class of '78 also -- this used to be on the jukebox jamming every day at our school cafeteria! I gave up trying to teach these young folks anything; they don't know what good music is. They'll never know what they're missing. I feel sorry for 'em. :)

  • @CommishNflpro I can only agree to the first paragraph, since i'm only 17. But i hear you, this is better music than that B.S. on the radio today.

  • My unk chubby would jam this song with authority

  • Boy, this brings back just too many memories!! My mom, dad and aunts and uncles used to jam to all of these!!!

  • Having my own personal party. I know... telling my age but this was such a happy song. Back then, men were sooooo excited about women or maybe I was just naive. Anyway, it was off da chain.

  • love it--love it...takes me back to junior high or so....in my heart and soul forever.

  • true music i love this song can some one say skate time USA lol

  • pjstockton, you are so right my brother (or sister). 70's music is the complete unadulterated bomb! I enjoy all types. Country, classic, R&B, Rock, Gospel, the works. I appreciate the art, but there is something about the music, lyrics and uniqueness of the 70's that sets it apart from other decades of music.

  • @SciFiMan777 at least you can sing to the 70's music. Glad I was there in my early 20's -- we girls would go dance at the Paladium in San Francisco...we had great fun after work..tee hee:)

  • Thanks for the posting. I never get tired of listening to this song. Good music never dies.
