The original song was always inspired by Winter Sonata...however now its just pretty much an homage isnt it. I don't much like the violin intro...doesn't work with synth.

@VyseLegend Yeah I like this version, but I agree the synth intro doesn't sound very good, it's kind of karaoke-ish. They should've used real violin or just the guitar.

I definitely prefer the original. Not just because I prefer Yama-B's voice accompanied by the original lyrics. I don't particularly like how the singing is more off beat in this version. That being said, there are certain things I like better in this version. Some of the composition brings a bit of an exciting new edge to this song.

I really like Sho, and think Pheonix Rising was amazing,

but before I listened to this, I was thinking to myself "I like Sho, but I don't like how they keep making him sing Galneryus' old songs. They just don't sound as good as they did with Yama-B."

But you have to admit, with the new lyrics and slightly different composition, Sho sounds AMAZING! Truly a powerful and unique singer!

i like galneryus in the past with yama b and now with sho and taka ot the bass ,they are always awesome ,very melodic and real neoclassical ,power band,always interesting with great composition,very good musicians and also syu is always so cool ,the best guitar player for me

Whisper In The Red Sky was one of the songs that got me into Galneryus and Japanese Music. Which later led me to learn the main theme to Winter Sonata on piano. I love BOTH versions. Yama-B and Sho are great vocalists, as well as vocalists that inspire me, but I prefer the old lyrics. I'm glad they added the live intro. <3. Thanks for uploading!

@AlaanxGalneryus Well i have the similar mindset of syu. Progressive and evolution of music. There is nothing wrong with the old composition however this new version is EVOLVED with Syu's new ability and energy =) Same with SHO's voice.

Syu will keep evolving his sound and thats why they continue to make amazing music without ever sounding boring. Progressive evolution is the BEST way to be as a musician =)

@TsumiyaTime Hm? It's possible to like both versions. But it's only logical to find the original better since eg. the melody of the vocals follows the instrumental in it, unlike here where they changed it so it will take time to get used to it. It sounds more just like improvising now, which to me doesn't flow as well. Besides the original is one of my favorites, it's perfect just as it is and that doesn't have so much to do with Yama-B's voice to me personally.

@TsumiyaTime Also, I don't think Yama is a "god" or something, I'm not someone who only worships his works. I love new Galneryus songs, and Sho sings for example the original Whisper perfectly.
