  • Another classic Boston song. Love the spaceship sounds at the beginning, the vocals blending, the great dynamics (soft and then strong sounds) the consistently harmonious sounds with the guitars and vocals. I would certainly buy the CD if it was re-released.

  • this song would of gone well on their 4th album

  • how much did charlie farren sing on this song with kim???

  • When the guitar came in really heavy with a solo I got chills.

  • I saw them in concert about 10 years ago....Fran and Brad were both in the band for the tour. They did a good job together. Fran was brought in to help Brad with the high notes....

  • @HeavensOfMetal Brad Delp died in 2007, not th 80's

  • @wheelkak Hmm.. I just looked it up there and you're right, I was told years ago he died in '87 but I guess I'm mistaken.

But my other statement still stands, I don't think Brad had any part in the writing/performing of this album and the voice he is hearing belongs to another vocalist.

  • @HeavensOfMetal you're misinformed... brad died recently. i went to see them in 04 and met brad

  • @jacobpkt That comment was made a month ago, I'm well informed now, I read false information from an unreliable source but being the huge fan I am I read up a lot on Boston after this.

Can't believe I went so long not knowing about Brads death/suicide.. Shows how much I read into my favourite bands, sorry.

I would loved to have met Brad, you're a hell of a lucky guy.

  • @HeavensOfMetal lol bro brad killed himself in the most peaceful and nicest way in 07, he left a note warning others about the carbon monoxide

  • @Delkoi Don't reply to my stupid 2 month old comments.

Back then I actually believed what my friend told me and I stated that in the next reply I made to DeadSpatula, don't bother replying to my stupid messages but rather my decent ones.

And I wouldn't call it peaceful.. Killing yourself isn't peaceful.

Besides, I have my own theory behind his death and I for one don't believe it was a suicide, however depressed he was.

  • @HeavensOfMetal Brad died in 2007. He is singing on this CD. He didn't sing on this song. But he did sing on this CD. The only CD he didn't sing on at all was Walk On.

  • @ceedee5000 I would like it if people would stop responding to a comment that's nearly 3 months old.

My friend gave me the wrong information, and I was blissfully unaware that he was wrong until someone told me 2 months back, so for the love of god listen to me... I KNOW.

Fran Cosmo (?) sang on this song, and might I say he has the voice of an angel, but I still much prefer Brad, and always have.

  • @HeavensOfMetal Before saying that Brad died in the 80's, do a research, google and wikipedia will help you, Brad died in 2007, and he is in this album, he always sing with Boston (even before they were called Boston) and died as the Boston singer.

  • @BrokenFlash If one more person sends me the same message I'm going to kill someone.

    I. FUCKING. KNOW. 16 people have replied to me to tell me exactly that.

I was wrongly informed by my friend who I thought knew about Boston as he introduced them too me, and very quickly after making this comment I did some research and found he and I were wrong.

If you asked me know I could tell you anything about Boston.

And yes, I'm aware Brad never sung entirely on this album and Fran did a lot on it.

  • @HeavensOfMetal ur friend needs to visit wikipedia

  • @BrokenFlash

    -R.I.P. Brad- :L

  • I'll give the corporate America album this. It sounds cool. It's not the Boston I love, but it still sounds cool. It will never surpass the original two albums, but it won't die either. I just wish brad Delp could have been on vocals. R.I.P Brad, R.I.P

  • @GOGTOXIC He was on vocals. Corporate America was released well before his death. He only was not on Walk-On.

  • @GOGTOXIC Brad was on vocals. Corporate America was released well before his death. He was out for walk on, but back for corporate america. His voice is the nice high pictched voice belting "you gave up on everything love could be!"

  • Great music,I thought they sounded excellent, but...honestly people WHO IS this?! Surely, that cannot be Boston! It isn't the Boston I know.

  • BOSTON!!! ROCK THE FUCK ON AND ON AND ON!!!!!!!

  • @The"Christian"Defender... man bitch and whine... "I hate the new drum sound, I hate it when Fran sings"... dude, if you don't like it don't listen to it and do us all a favor and shut the hell up. Boston rocks and still does despite its evolution.

  • 2 people gave up on love :(

  • THIS IS A DAMN GOOD BAND DON'T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS. THEY ARE UNDERRATED JUST LIKE NAZARETH.

  • The male vocalist on this studio track is Boston-area singer/guitarist Charlie Farren (Joe Perry Project, Farrenheit) Charlie and Kim did a fantastic job on this track, and was sorry to not hear it performed at the Brad Delp "Come Together" Tribute Concert.

  • Tom Scholz is BEAST!!! He's amazing. I'm from Boston by the way people xD

  • Great song Boston 4 ever thank you for sharing :) Jorell

  • Tom Scholz sings in the verses with Kim!!!!

  • I really love this song! Funfact: There is an epic mistake @1:05, you can hear they cut out his voice.

  • I didn't hear this till 2006 but i think that it was fitting because i was only 11 in 2001 and i was able to appreciate it more as a teen than i ever could have as a kid.

  • this coulda been the greatest song ever if tom sholtz woulda did an epic solo like the one in A Man Ill Never Be and if the last minute of this song wasnt crap. in my opinion they wasted a potential great song here.

  • bostons first lady singers.he'scool

  • awwwesome im happy to see more boston they are trully a legendary band my most fave band overall

  • very good quality, very good song!!!!!!!

  • I'm not so sure, had Brad not died, that Boston would have made any new music. With Tom's obsession with perfection and his pain staking, time consuming production methods, I kinda' think the band would have just toured, singing their greatest hits. But still, at least we'd still have Brad with us. I'd like to see Tom and Fran get in the studio and put out some new music.

  • @spiderdragon1969 why doesn't anyone know that they ARE working on an album......

  • @twiggymac I do know of their work on their new album, i've been keeping up to date on the bands website

  • @wheelkak ok, i was being a bit overly dramatic about it, seems alot of people don't know.

i personally am very excited and cant wait. people who say its going to suck dont know what they are talking about, corporate america was a great album, it just had bad sales.

walk on was probably the worst boston album, and i use worst lightly

  • @wheelkak They havent posted anything on there web site? gonnahitcharide . com is a good place to keep in touch with Boston news though!

  • @twiggymac because the group split up a long time ago

  • @twiggymac they are but tom is slow but it'll be worth the wait

  • @lennymo36 oh i don't doubt that, but tom is a perfectionist, it shall be worth it =)

  • @spiderdragon1969 I think Tom's perfectionism is what makes Boston albums what they are: well-polished and a wonderful listening experience. Yes, it means we have to wait for freakin' ever for a new album to be released, but the result is satisfying, no?

  • @wiiman250 From interviews and such I have heard the new album is suppose to be pretty good! Although Tom is re doing some tracks from Corpoate America. He said he is shooting for an additinal 6 tracks, also said that brad had laid vocals for one or more of the tracks so we get to hear some new Brad material!

  • Right on 666satanzloki666 Boston, after their first album is one one of the most underrated bands of all time. To me they sound better than the Beatles!

  • Not a lot of people know this. The drum sound is a Combination of acoustic drums. a ludwig super classic i believe. with Ddrum red shot triggers that are ran into an old oberheim drum module. a lot of drummers especially drummers of metal groups like trivium etc are doing this it gives you a lot of punch. but as mentioned it can bring forth a good or bad response from critics

  • Man.... I'm only 18 but this is my favorite band EVER!!! I grew up listening to the original Boston, but I have yet to hear a single song that doesn't hit home to my soul. RIP Mr. Delp

  • This is a great song,isn't it ?

  • is kimberley dahme singin in the studio version?

  • yup

  • @schicksta1 yeah

  • brad is no longer here rip, but fran is, fran sounds great on this album!!! i hope tom will bring fran back to record another album

  • hermosa cancion,gracias Tom..

  • I'm as big a Boston fan as can be, but this album was just no good (sorry Tom, that's REALLY why it went nowhere, even if you don't wanna believe it). This song, however, is actually pretty good, but my God WHEN is he gonna stop using those awful electric drums?!? Pay a real drummer dammit!!

  • THANK YOU HITMAN! I HATE the new drum sound. I miss Sib.. And I hate when Fran sings. I miss old school Boston. Fran has an alright voice, but why not use brad? I loved your comment. finally someone agrees

  • Because unfortunantly, brad is dead

  • obviously not when the albums were made.

  • @TheChristianDefender well they would try as hard as they could to get him back but let him RIP

  • About the electric drums, AGREED.

  • No problem

  • what a great song, damn radio missed a winner here. so so sad about brad, RIP. Rock on Boston forever, thx for posting this
