If you can wear prosthesis with high heel stop saying that you have one leg. Having one leg means that your leg was amputated at the hip and not any lower. And that is not your case. Is it?

@korkace i'm not trying to start any arguments, but the anatomical term for the thigh is "femur." The "leg," is technically only below the patella, or "knee." So, if she is an above the knee amputee, like myself, she technically does have one leg. Whether or not you may agree with this is purely an opinion. I just wanted to state a fact and in no way cause a youtube war.

The things you tell are very interesting. Please try to increase the sound quality in next videos (eg. get a better mic, get closer to your mic...), many PCs have a poor sound quality and although it's not hard to understand you it gets a little tiring to listen to videos that are not recorded with a good sound quality. My dad is an amputee as well (same leg as you) and I know all that he has gone through and continues to go through with prosthetic legs. I have crappy arches in my feet, so they tend to collapse inward. Plus, I am also generally wimpy. So, perhaps not a shining specimen of two-leggedness.

That said, FWIW, I usually find that my feet start hurting after about an hour of standing in one place, or two hours of walking (for whatever reason, I find moving is better-- so, for starters, I would suggest deliberately trying to find ways to move around, rather than standing in one place, especially with all your weight on one leg).

The prosthetics industry tries to make legs look 'real' because most amputees don't want to stand out or be noticed because of their amputation.

Surely you find it annoying when people keep asking 'what happened to your leg'.

But like several posters have asked, when/how did you lose it?

Will you please do a video where you show off your residual limb and your socket technology?
