Very nice video,I salute the expectional courage of all the Sikh & Indian soldiers who fought for Royal Army in both WWI & WWII.Both my grandfathers were in sikh regiment under royal army and fought the germans in WWII.This video is a made to honour the valour of these unsong hero's ,who are forgotten by most of Indian & British people.Thank you BBC.Great job

@Jimmyretired Its a shame you don't know your own history, England had many wars before we came. The British Sought our aid in the turbelent times of those two World Wars and previous small wars before that, you should be glad that foreiginers came to fight your wars against the Nazi and the Japanese. SIKHS HAD THE BEST LEADERS AND HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO CONTINUE, for example at the Battle of Chamkaur where Guru Gobind Singh JI (The best of the best) with 40 saint soldiers before training they did meditation and martial training, went up against 1 million Mughals and TO EMERGE VICTORIOUS AT THE END. education teaching about this war is very biased, no truth was told properly, but this is the fact and will remain it.

We will happily join the army if we get help for khalistan. we allways get used by powers for their own selfish ends - expediency. now they probably want to recruit us against iraq and afghanistan. but its a great tribute to sikh soldiers who fought and died in the world wars. its an important part of our history. we have a martial tradition, but the guru also tells us to use our own mind and our own consciousness. we will join if britian stops trading with india and opposes india joining the UN

At the Battle of Chamkaur in 1705 the there were 40 Sikhs against 1 million Mughals, Sikhs learnt martial training and meditation to defeat them all. It takes guts to look through the eyes of death, it takes warriors of all warriors to defeat such elite forces.

Sikhs fight fight for equality for equality of all mankind, power, lust, greed.... will be the downfall of man.
