I don't care how good it looked, or how customizable it was, Spore overall was horrible. You have to play through 2 or 3 hours of boring gameplay, which can be skipped without grief by simply building your creature, buildings, and ship at once (you can barely see vehicles), followed by a sandbox universe that has horrible gameplay - apparently, established empires can't kill 4 infected animals on their own planets without you.

You only have to play all the stages once. Afterwards, you can just skip all of it. I also don't get how the gameplay is horrible, it's better then most of the FPS games. You can see vehicles, maybe you just need glasses. Also, it's a game, don't expect NPCs to do everything by themselves. It they could, it would eliminate the point of missions.

I know you can skip it once you do it the first time... but you still have to spend a worthless 3 hours in a glorified tutorial for space stage. I don't see how you say its gameplay is better than FPSes, as that's a whole different genre - Spore is RTS/Sim game, and a suckish one at that. And while I don't expect the NPCs to do everything, the fact that they can't do ANYTHING is simply annoying.

I agree the gameplay is not near FPS standards like halo or CoD, but it is quite a good sim game, creating nearly everything is good but i felt a bit frustrated at the simple controls as they restrict me a bit compared to true tools like the GECK and Oblivion editor

This kicks the shit out of LBP, all you do in that is make 2d maps, you make characters, cars, tanks, jets, spaceships, boats, buildings, weapon, armor, planets, cities, whole story modes. There is almost no limit to what you can do in Spore. Why better then that lame ass LBP.

Gameplay cannot be defined as a dimension. The gameplay is not 2D, it is a side-scrolling game, which are two completely different things. It is in fact a 3D game with a 3D engine.

I'd agree. But i want them to create a more detailed colour thing for creatures and their armour. So they look better.

Also you can only have 8 acts with 3 things each. I think there should be alot more.
