You are a laugh riot. I post something for the first time in months, and you reply to it seconds later. You must live to do this nonsense. I pity you.
yeah he is having a much better year and im glad to see it because i really do like inge, but like you aid he does swing and miss a bit, but he has amazing range at third!
@bhoy029 Mmmm, that feels better huh? Raining on my profile page? Now you've got something to do now. Sitting and stewing. And, I wasn't defending anyone. Just pointing you out.
@JustinVerlander35 And, I suppose that you are speaking from actual experience...you know, like you actually saw Kell PLAY back 60 or so years ago...? If you did, then I bid you well. If not, then stop making a fool of yourself.
@yohannbiimu No, I am speaking based on numbers and Performance. George Kell is a career .306 hitter, 10 time All-Star, former batting Champion and Hall of Famer.
Brandon Inge is a career .235 hitter, overrated defensively, and a shitty hitter. He holds the all-time Tigers strike-out record. He has lead all AL 3B's in errors TWICE in his career, he isn't a productive player, and has had two good seasons in 10 years.
@JustinVerlander35 I said he's the best-FIELDING 3B, not the best-HITTING. Secondly, he's also led the league several times in total chances and assists. The guy gets to dozens of balls that everyone else in baseball let get by them. He's been with the team as long as he's been for a reason, and thankfully, people like you have no say in the team's decision making. I've seen two great Tigers 3B fielders, Aurelio Rodriguez and Brandon Inge. Nobody else is close.
@yohannbiimu How can he be the best FIELDING 3B the Tigers have ever had when he has lead the all AL 3B in errors twice in his career? I am not going to BS that George Kell had a great glove. Because he made his fair share of errors as well. But Inge isn't that great at defense either. He has a little bit of range but that's about it.
@JustinVerlander35 if errors are all that you look at, rather than chances and zone rating, then that's your prerogative. If he was just a bump who gobbled up everything that was hit in his direction, rather than going after ground balls and liners that he ranged after, I suppose more doubles and triples would result, but he'd satisfy your incessant need for fewer errors, right? Your analysis, again, makes me happy that you are just a fan, and not a decision-maker in the Tigers front office.
@yohannbiimu If I was a decision maker he would of been gone years ago. I wouldn't of brought him back up from AAA this year. A guy who was batting .177 before getting sent down would of been cut off a team I run. A guy that strikes out over a 120 times a year and is a career .235 hitter, would of been off my team a long time ago. They keep him around because he is a fan fan favorite and keeps asses in the seats. Nothing more than that.
@JustinVerlander35 Fielding percentage is as poor a metric in figuring fielding prowess as batting average is in figuring batting prowess. Like I said above, if you'd prefer having a guy with a spotless FLD%, but allows doubles and triples to get past him, then you're going to have someone who isn't going to have his job for long. The Tigers are constantly TRYING to replace Inge, but they inevitably go back to him, because he's a damn good fielder. Those are facts. Live with it.
@yohannbiimu No, you are an Inge lover and just turn your heads to the facts. I could sit hear all day and proves to you, like I already have, that Inge is a poor player and fielder. But you are going to piss all over the facts or try to make them seem un-important because you love Inge. You sir are and idiot and a waste of my time.
@yohannbiimu So I haven't heard anything back from you in a long time. Remember how you talk about how many runs Inge "saves" and hits? Are you familiar with that stat UZR? Just in case you aren't; UZR is a stat that measures how well you field you zone. Unlike fielding percentage, if a ball gets hit through your zone, which could be a ball that counts as a run or a hit, it gets counted against you. Now this describes what you said that Inge does well perfectly. Guess what Inge's UZR is???
@yohannbiimu His UZR is 1.8! which means he is barely an average fielder at third-base. He is saving less than two-runs a year at third. Which furthermore proves my point: he is NOT a good fielder.
@JustinVerlander35 Listen troll, the Tigers haven't been able to do any better, and I don't give a rat's behind what your opinion is. Inge's stats throughout his career show that he's a superior fielder. The only Tigers thirdbaseman who comes close to him in my lifetime is Aurelio Rodreguez, and he couldn't hit as well as Inge. The only one who was superior overall was Travis Fryman, and he was essentially given away by Randy Smith. You are pissing in the wind with your bloviating.
@yohannbiimu Actually his stats show he isn't a good fielder. I told you, he COST the Tigers runs. Look at his UZR. He hasn't had a good year with the glove since 2006. Once more you show how little you know about the game of baseball. How can you say that he is a superior fielder when he only saved the Tigers 1.8 runs last year? I thought that is what he did best? WRONG AGAIN. Look at Brett Gardner. He had a UZR/150 (that means his UZR of 150 games) of 27.8. That is a superior fielder.
Lets get things straight here. I made the video for a friend, and she sent me the pictures all I did was put them together and to a song. Yeah your right its not Brandon Inge, but it's a little to late to go and fix it now. So just live with it.
Sexy back is right. Yum. Not to mention that his is one of the best third basemen, ever. He is my lil bro's role model, as well as my imaginary husband. lol.
I hope the Tigers make it to the World Series again this year. And win it. Better yet, have the Tigers and Cardnials go to the Series then we can kick THEIR butt this time!
You are a laugh riot. I post something for the first time in months, and you reply to it seconds later. You must live to do this nonsense. I pity you.

@yohannbiimu Since your all about chances,
2005: 530 Chances, 23 Errors, .957 FLD%
2006: 555 Chances, 22 Errors, .960 FLD%
2007: 434 Chances, 18 Errors, .959 FLD%
Those three years right there prove you wrong and shows you he isn't a good FIELDING 3B.
