you cant. well you can but you have to convert it to some pinner format then you can edit it. windows movie maker is easy to use but it cant handle high quiality video like other software. get pinnacle studio 11. all your problems will be solved :D
or try premiere elements or sony vegas or ulead. they're all great programs. you can download a trial of PowerDirect Pro and get the serial on a camcorder site! lol. the site is aiptek[dot]com

Hey, thats not true. They record the same HD format, and resolution, they're not any different, except memory. Same zoom, basically, same lens, just different features. But I don't have an sr10, or sr11/12, so I wouldn't really know.

Dude you are wrong, the SR10 has 3CCD, liekt he others. Only a bit lower resolution and less hard disk space, thus external mic. input, hot shoe, and a external headset.

the camcorder does NOT have enough quality to produce a decent HD video. SR11 is a lot better.

I have looked at reviews, yes the pixel count may be different but this only affects still image quality, not video footage quality.

Hi,
The difference is the CCD chip which finally will determines the quality of the video. The SR10 got 1 CCD and the SR11/12 got both 3 CCD.
You only feel difference when your filming something with a lot of light or less light.
