i once tried to astral project while looking and thinking about a set of stars, all of a sudden i woke up on a platform with wires all over my body and everything around me looks like alien structure. then a machine came up to me and asked me if i wanted to be deprogrammed, i got so fucking freaked out i immediately tried to go back.

You should be in sleep paralysis by NOT moving your body at ALL,while in bed,and relax,then body sends a test signal to the mind,and the signal is an urge to Roll Over,if you move and Roll over,body will know that way if mind is awake,and wont shut down,then you need to start over! By ignoring the message from the body,body will think the mind is asleep and will shut down,then you wont be able to move and become lucid

Well heres a question, Have you ever died before? Yeah, stupid question, I know, but the point is if you havent experienced it in real life then you cant dream about it, you can fly in a dream since youve seen footage of flying before, and you can breathe and swim freely underwater in a dream since youve seen footage of the ocean, but youve never seen what its like to die so If your in a scenario where you would be almost certainly die, you would just wake up.
How come I never dreamed of a daylight? All of my dreams have night settings. Tough I remembered dreaming of being surrounded and staring at a blinding light.

Whenever I'm getting chased by the police or anyone else in non lucid dreams I end up flying and when I start flying I realise its a dream so I go on a rampage. I can do Liu Kang (from mortal kombat) fly kicks but besides that I just find a weapon and start milling people out of it. Had one last night where I ripped the door off a car and started beating police with it.

Advice: If you want to do this, FOCUS everything you have while you're starting to fall asleep. And you can also control what you sleep by focusing everything you have on it. i tried flying. when i was flying, it wasn't like this at all. I was flying close to the ground when i can feel safe landing. i found buildings in the shape of an o, then mysteriously, my power of flight drained slowly. i couldn't fly when i reached school. then i woke up after a few more minutes.

believe me, these are real clouds. But I don't know whether it is cheaper to rent a chopper for some hours or to find one who makes convincing cgi-clouds...

Dude once i fell offf a really high mountain and realized i was dreaming, so i stopped falling and started flying, but it felt fake and the graphics were horrible, so i got bored and woke up.
When I was little I had a dream of flying like superman and actually had the costume on : / serious it was awesome cause I could control my flight, until I flew into a big mound of dirt, probably because I tried to impose too much logic and reasoning, and woke up. Truly amazing feeling, there is no fear of heights, and gravity is not a factor (have never been on a plane to this day) The trick is to realize your dreaming, but try not to make too much sense of it, or you'll wake up : )

@muxica23 you were in a stage were you mind is awake but your body is asleep. this happens whenever we sleep. our body disconnects from our brain and goes into paralysis. other wise if this didn't happen our bodys would respond to what we do in our dreams. what you experience was normal.

@groszek647 That's happened to me before too. But I've found that this technique works. Okay, so if you start to get excited, just tell yourself to calm down. (Obviously) If the dream starts fading, there are 2 things you can do. 1)Rub your hands together in the dream. This will cause you to focus on your dream body, therefore keeping you in the dream. 2)Spin in circles in the dream. This will also cause you to focus on your dream body, but it also might take you to a new dream location. :)

when I have lucid dreams, I can always fly, but I have a really difficult time getting higher up in the air :P Like, I'll jump up and fly, but I'll only be a few feet off of the ground, and it's hard for me to stay flying consistently. I'll make big circles with my arms and that usually takes me up, but my arms get tired in the dream from doing that and I float back down. Any tips on flying higher and being able to stay flying?
@FabulousQ Watch The Matrix/again! Lots of great tips on dreaming!! I'll have a very intense flying dream every so often! It's so amazing when you risk going higher up! When i discover my hidden talent, I'll find i have a "Technique" that always works ex. Running Fast, then maybe some flapping but some twist to it like a perfected technique! If you're getting aloft a few feet now, you're guaranteed to go higher up eventually! But use caution at all times, especially 100ft + LOL!

But in all of my lucid dreams all I have to do is concentrate to fly. I've been getting better and better at it since I was abou7, but now I've pretty much mastered it.

Flying in lucid dreams gives you a body high like you could never imagine. Better than sex, weed, or anything. You almost feel like a god, and you litterally do get "high" off of it. I consider people who fly in lucid dreams and people who don't totally different, because your just not the same person once you've experienced this.
last night i had one of the most amazing dreams i've ever had. i was at a nearby catholic church for some reason and there was some kind of emergency going on, a fire, or a riot or something but it didnt matter because that made me realize i was dreaming. all of the sudden in the midst of crazyness everyone stopped and gathered around me and then i did my usual floating stunt (float about 200 ft in the air)....
...now i started out my lucid dreams with this type of floating then "graduated" to controlled floating in small areas like a room, i would then pass through ceilings and floors etc but last night i said outloud in the dream "its time to fly!" and i took off into outer space, it was pitch black with crazy bright white stars and i literally flew like superman with my fist out for a while then decided this was "lame" so i flew like i was diving into a pool.
...evetually i flew at light speed and the stars blurred like the movie star wars...the feeling i had inside was AMAZING! after this i dont remember anything, if i came back to earth, or if it just ended there...it was the best dream ever.
last night, i was lucid and i wanted to try flying, so i jumped, and i just floated up really high in the sky, and starting moving around.... i don't know how, but it happened, and it was so exhilarating that I woke up.
@marzipin Lol flying is sort of difficult at first. It really just all depends on how "lucid" (aware) you are in the dream. When your very very lucid, flying is much easier.

I use to have lucid dreams of the clouds and other things all the time b4 my head injury. I am sure i still have them but remember so little about them. i am working on going back to them.
i flew in my lucid dreams b4. it was fun. this is how to do it. first b4 u go 2 bed think and say i am going to fly in my dream and b really calm. then once ur in ur dream, start jumping. then you'll c u can jump pretty high. like 30 ft. in the air. then this is how 2 fly. start running really fast. but run with ur hands out like u r going 2 do a dive. then jump then you'll float through the air 4 about 6 seconds. then you should land on ur belly. it's fun trust me it takes time 2 learn it.

When I was little I had a dream of flying like superman and actually had the costume on : / serious it was awesome cause I could control my flight, until I flew into a big mound of dirt, probably because I tried to impose too much logic and reasoning, and woke up. Truly amazing feeling, there is no fear of heights, and gravity is not a factor (have never been on a plane to this day) The trick is to realize your dreaming, but try not to make too much sense of it, or you'll wake up : )

Man ive never experienced Lucid Dreaming. the very first time I realized that i was dreaming, I got sucked into this Darkness and then I woke up in a sleep paralysis.. I wiggled my big toe to wake me up and yeah... It was pretty scary , i just need to do it right I guess.

@muxica23 you were in a stage were you mind is awake but your body is asleep. this happens whenever we sleep. our body disconnects from our brain and goes into paralysis. other wise if this didn't happen our bodys would respond to what we do in our dreams. what you experience was normal.

i was on my computer trying to open internet explorer. i had no internet.
i was angry.. then i watched outside of my window and i saw a few white pigeons.

@groszek647 That's happened to me before too. But I've found that this technique works. Okay, so if you start to get excited, just tell yourself to calm down. (Obviously) If the dream starts fading, there are 2 things you can do. 1)Rub your hands together in the dream. This will cause you to focus on your dream body, therefore keeping you in the dream. 2)Spin in circles in the dream. This will also cause you to focus on your dream body, but it also might take you to a new dream location. :)

Personally I would rather see heaven something similar to this, being in some far away mysterious sky with colors no human has ever seen, just floating and flying endlessly above torquoise blue oceans like a god and then watching the sunset from a view only a free spirit could see. This song plus that is pretty close to my version of heaven, but who knows?

when I have lucid dreams, I can always fly, but I have a really difficult time getting higher up in the air :P Like, I'll jump up and fly, but I'll only be a few feet off of the ground, and it's hard for me to stay flying consistently. I'll make big circles with my arms and that usually takes me up, but my arms get tired in the dream from doing that and I float back down. Any tips on flying higher and being able to stay flying?

@FabulousQ Watch The Matrix/again! Lots of great tips on dreaming!! I'll have a very intense flying dream every so often! It's so amazing when you risk going higher up! When i discover my hidden talent, I'll find i have a "Technique" that always works ex. Running Fast, then maybe some flapping but some twist to it like a perfected technique! If you're getting aloft a few feet now, you're guaranteed to go higher up eventually! But use caution at all times, especially 100ft + LOL!

ive had lucid reams but one was so amazing, i met this girl at a park/funeral place where ppl were dressed in black about to attend a funeral, and i just kissed the girl and i guess we were going out :) then explosions occured while we walked thru the city, and we were going at a fast speed in a car or somethinng. and i saw a man playing a saxophone but i didnt look like one, and that was at the begginning, so thats what made me realize i was dreaming, but you can feel EVERYTHING! i want to fly

I very rarely have any dreams I can remember, but all the ones I remember are either lucid, or visions of something in the future that I'm supposed do or change. But in all of my lucid dreams all I have to do is concentrate to fly. I've been getting better and better at it since I was abou7, but now I've pretty much mastered it.

Flying in lucid dreams gives you a body high like you could never imagine. Better than sex, weed, or anything. You almost feel like a god, and you litterally do get "high" off of it. I consider people who fly in lucid dreams and people who don't totally different, because your just not the same person once you've experienced this.

last night i had one of the most amazing dreams i've ever had. i was at a nearby catholic church for some reason and there was some kind of emergency going on, a fire, or a riot or something but it didnt matter because that made me realize i was dreaming. all of the sudden in the midst of crazyness everyone stopped and gathered around me and then i did my usual floating stunt (float about 200 ft in the air)....

...now i started out my lucid dreams with this type of floating then "graduated" to controlled floating in small areas like a room, i would then pass through ceilings and floors etc but last night i said outloud in the dream "its time to fly!" and i took off into outer space, it was pitch black with crazy bright white stars and i literally flew like superman with my fist out for a while then decided this was "lame" so i flew like i was diving into a pool.

i flew in my lucid dreams b4. it was fun. this is how to do it. first b4 u go 2 bed think and say i am going to fly in my dream and b really calm. then once ur in ur dream, start jumping. then you'll c u can jump pretty high. like 30 ft. in the air. then this is how 2 fly. start running really fast. but run with ur hands out like u r going 2 do a dive. then jump then you'll float through the air 4 about 6 seconds. then you should land on ur belly. it's fun trust me it takes time 2 learn it.
