Yes, this is Shobayashi Shorin Ryu as taught by Grandmaster Eizo Shimbukuro. My teacher lived with Grandmaster Shimabukuro for 9 months.

He's just being a bit robotic to better show the techniques...in most situations he would be much more fluid wiht the movements.
