I used to watch this film literally every day when I was little. Then when I watched Glee when Kristin played April I didn't know it was her. It was only when my younger sister was watching Annie with me that I saw the names on the titles and I was like OMG its April! The same with Dianna Agron, my fave ep of Drake and Josh was The Great Dahoney where Dianna played Lexi, and my sister was watching it and she called me and was shouting QUINN FABRAY'S ON DRAKE AND JOSh!! and I never even realized!

I think Annie is one of those shows in which the bad guys are the ones who steal the show. I played Rooster just this past May, and I've had a few adults come up to me and say that I stole the show, not to mention a couple of kids say "Mommy! It's Rooster! Look Mommy, it's Rooster!" Haha, absolutely love this show, and Easy Street

My fave is the one in the 80's where Cheno's role is played by Bernadette Peters and Carol Burnett is Ms. Hanagan. They cut out this scene in that one. Love Cheno though!

when rooster says easy street at the beginning where he puts his hat back on, when he is saying easy street and bouncing while he is hugging miss hannigann, its kind of looks like he is humping ms. hannigan. LOL:) Alan Cumming is so cute!!! And so is Kristin!!! I wannabe like their BFF!!!

@ashleighdrummond haha! i was in my junior or senior year in high school, about 15 or 16, when i first watched this. never knew it was Kristin either. i rented the VHS (hee hee! old school!) cos it said Kathy Bates. hahahaha!!! :D then of course Alan Cumming who i saw in Spice World. xD

@ashleighdrummond Well, Bernadette Peters was in the original 1982 film, along with Carol Burnett as Miss Hannigan and Tim Curry as Rooster. This is the 1999 Disney TV special with Victor Garber (Daddy Warbucks,) Kathy Bates (Miss Hannigan,) Alan Cumming (Rooster,) Audra McDonald (Grace,) and Lalaine (Kate.)

I liked both versions (I grew up with that version, even though they added in a LOT of songs,) but this version is closer to the musical adaptation AND has Kristen Chenoweth in it. :D
