Yeh buy a Blue Ray if you like root kits in your computer and overly abusive DRM protection.,
If enough people refuse to buy into Blue Ray; this will without a doubt send a strong message to Sony and force the industry to rethink it's position on DRM. Do some good and fight the evil empire by telling Sony to take their DRM and rootkits and shove it up their asses.

what you said happens with 360, it overheats and eats your disk alive so that you can go back to store and buy new copy, awesome quality there microsoft and great way to raise sales. >_> Blu-Ray has protection layer around it.

not saying 360 is better than ps3 or anything but blu-ray discs are weak compared to dual layered dvds a little scratch on it and bye bye disc it is way to delicate and of course 5X the storage is quite cool too but it's just that sony is a pretty horrible company when it comes to quality everything they make break easy

I have sony TV which is 14 years old and it still works, I have PSX (the first playstation) and it still works, I have a lot of Sony stuff that still works, I don't know maybe it's your experience.

the first playstation is the playstation not the psx the psx came after ps2 and yes sony products are good but thier quality dropped recently the new psp 2000 on sale now are breaking easily and so are the newer ps3s but the older ones are fine and i hope the psp 3000 coming out will be as good as the ps2 in terms of quality
