@sidoirm no they are all the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th fret and the strumming might be hard for a beginner but it just depends this song has something called chucking you might want to look up a step by step video on that it's very easy to pick up on it :)

@mizfittedworld yeah it's strange a bit but it's down, up, chuck down (pause) chuck down, up (pause) down, up ,chuck down, up, down, up, chuck down, up..........that's pretty much the whole song except when you get to the part when he says holds all your memories is just constant downs to the beat! (: hope that helpped! if you dont know how to chuck there is step by step videos on how too.

@NeverDoubtDash That's actually an F chord. Also little tip on this song guys, for the intro where it has the C, Am, F and G I would just strum each string individually to get that piano flow going. All except the Low E and the high e strings except when you're playing the G chord strum only the low E the A and the high e string.

But to mute, touch the strings with the palm of your right hand and strum. Don't push hard on the strings, just enough so they click rather than ring out. :)

an actual F is a barre chord, so this version is a lot easier to play

actually for the third chord, your supposed to bar the first fret otherwise its not actually an F

or for F, you could bar e and b first fret, g string 2nd fret, d string third fret and mute a and E
