This scene would had been even better if Wonder Woman enters the office while the female villians are cleaning out the safe and tries to stop them, only to be knocked out by the same weapon that the villians had used on Joe Atkinson just moments earlier. When Wonder Woman awakens, she realizes that the villians have taken her prisoner and rendered her powerless by removing her magic belt.
@Girardifan I agree with you. In the entire episode there were numerous times where Wonder Woman could have easily been knocked out and taken prisoner but none of the villians ever capitalized on it. It would have been a great two part episode storyline with Wonder Woman taken captive and brain washed and is forced to go on a crime spree all under the control of the Pied Piper and with Steve Trevor having to play the hero this time.
When Wonder Woman was affected by the gas, this was a chance for the villians to remove her magic belt and take her prisoner. Of coarse, Wonder Woman was rarely captured on the CBS version of the show;it was always Diana Prince who was captured.
Who would had thought that Jan Brady would be the leader of a group of female criminals? When Wonder Woman was affected by the gas, the villians should had taken advantage of her weakness and removed her magic belt and taken her prisoner;Wonder Woman would had been too busy choking on the gas to stop them. For Wonder Woman, the most humiliating moment of her crimefighting career would had been being captured and rendered helpless by a bunch of girls.
In the ABC episode entitled "Fausta, the Nazi Wonder Woman". it is established that the belt is magic and is the source of Wonder Woman's Amazon powers when she is away from Paradise Island. Wonder Woman falls through a trap door and is bound with her own golden lasso;Wonder Woman is compeled to tell the agent that he can make her helpless and take her prisoner by removing her magic belt which, of coarse, he does.
There are 3 episodes of the TV series in which Wonder Woman loses her Amazon powers:"Fausta the Nazi Wonder Woman", "The Bushwackers" and part 2 of "Judgement From Outer Space". In each of these episodes, Wonder Woman becomes helpless when her magic belt is removed. Maybe in the 70s villians don't know that Wonder Woman is powerless without her magic belt;you would think that at least a few of them would tie her up with her own lasso so that they can learn her weaknesses and make her helpless.
I know I have seen them. Some people know about the belt I just pose the theory that most people, dont. I cant belive the burglars did just simply grab her golden rope and truss her up leaving her to be found in that state. In the comic Wonder Woman has been tied-up over 700 times
Actually, this is something we agree on. On the TV show, "Fausta the Nazi Wonder Woman" is the only episode that shows Wonder Woman being bound with her own golden lasso;it never happened in any of the CBS episodes. In this episode, for example, if the female villians had tied her up with her own lasso, Wonder Woman would had been captured and rendered helpless by a bunch of girls, which would had been her most humiliating moment as a crimefighter.
The girls could have easily KO'd & captured Wonder Woman with the electrical sound weapon when she was reeling from the effects of the gas attack That was when she most vulnerable. She could have been KO'd exactly the same way Joe was during the break in scene at 1:36.

Excellent "almost KO" scene from the Wonder Woman episode "Pied Piper" -- the villain really should have used a more potent dose of sleeping gas!
