I grew up there -- Have been in the Lighthouse... Was raised at 3445 Richmond Road....just down the hill freom the Lighthouse... Remember the Ghosts also...!!!! Little girl especially -- who had been locked in the attic -- in the original house... Gene P
There was a house - close to the Lighthouse - in the mid 1800's
it burned down. In the new home (very large brick home) there was a little girl
who would be seen on the upper balcony - crying that she wanted water.. She was seen by several people - I heard her..but was not "in" the hall.. After a lot of searching - it was found that the girl was in the original home when it burned and was killed... Sad ...and "very true".......
You passion of lighthouses is to be admired, and your photos are great thanks for shairing them, our lighthouse the 2nd oldest in Ireland ibuilt in 1761 is in sad neglect see my video, LOL

I was there today to look at the Museum of Tibetan Art. That neighborhood is beautiful, but steep.

staten island lighthouse ia on a very nice street. i've been there. you have to go at night.
