@chimcharstar - I'm gonna say that he probably doubled up the super moves with regular ones because Hydro Pump and Thunder have 1. Lower accuracies, and 2. Lower PP than Surf and Thunderbolt. Great, I used Poliwrath's Hydro Pump 5 times. Now I have no more water ability... -___-

@4FXR4 I think they're pretty much equal. the movesets are rather seperate, though. Personally, I'd choose Nidoqueen.

@Drake1299 Although I DO agree with you on the last bit, his choice isn't an entirely bad one, now, yes , haveing 3 flying moves is a bad idea, but if you'll notice he does give pidgeot hyper beam, still this dosen't mean it'll be going against high defense pokemon such as Golem, this guy has other pokemon.

Yes! You have Horn Drill. That's a move that I really like because no matter how much hp or defense a pokemon has, (if it's not a ghost type) then it'll faint if it hits. Of course, you have to be the same level or higher of course.

Well if you take a look Nidoran (the female) learns more elemental moves (Which is better: Bite, Crunch Superpower OR Horn Attack, Flatter, and HornDrill?).. But eventually I'd say Nidoran's attack/special attack power will outweigh NidoQueen' special defense in the long run.. But these 2 are capable learning other elemental moves from HM and TM's..

It's not really a bad pokemon. Nidoqueen is more bulky and slightly faster , meant for setting up things like Stealth Rock or with a kind of Rest/Sleep Talk moveset while Nidoking is stronger and used for sheer power. They both have different strong points.

I had Charizard, Gyarados, Dragonite and a weak Aerodactyl holding an EXP share. I only used pokemon i deemed to be 'dragons'. As a result, all were nudging level 70 by the time I got to this gym, with the exception of aerodactyl who was more like level 25 by this point.

It also meant i had room in my party for HM whores.
