  • That's a decent amount for such a young catshark. One thing you may try is rotating what you are feeding. Mine like silversides, krill, squid, clam, and the occasional cocktail shrimp. I don't recommend using goldfish ever. You could also use live saltwater feeder shrimp. Using different food sources ensures balanced nutrition which is crucial to the well being of your shark.

    They also are sensitive to changes in SG, so make sure you stay on your daily top offs! I recommend an automatic top o

  • Also you may want to keep your eyes on the trigger. They are known to nip the fins of sharks!!

  • That's a pretty nice setup there my man! You are definitely on the right path! You will want to try to get that skimmer running asap though because that shark will put quite a bio load on your system! One word of advice...make very sure your shark gets enough iodine in it's diet! I have one but almost lost him a year ago to an iodine deficiency!
