  • LMAO Gold, full credit indeed to the old love!

  • I swear her nose is getting longer

  • seeing some of these comments makes me ashamed to be an australian, almost to the point of throwing up, are AMERICANS seriously more atune to what's really going on than us? This woman lies through her teeth and so does abbot, at least usa has a glimmer of hope in ron paul.. we have nothing, they're all on the same team..

  • 'im not stupid'

    lol thats a give away!!

  • You should have smacked the old set up Liberal member bitch over the head Julia!! What a nasty old toady she was showing such blatant disrespect for my PM. We love you Julia!! Kick that ugly phony LYING Tony Abbott's skinny ass for the next 2 years, he can't LIE that long & keep getting away with it...The women of Australia who care about our environment are with you all the way. BEST thing we ever had was a female PM..Fantastic! Love ya girl! Love to you and your family..Stay true & stay STRONG

  • There should be no carbon tax because this man made global crap is a global scam.

  • @joskemom

Indeed, we are seeing the next round of Climategate unfold as we speak.

  • @Alastrian83 Actually no, its not. Its the same stuff as the leak from 2009, essentially saying the exact same stuff, but in different words, different emails, there is nothing new. Climategate was just a bunch of the scientists doing internal bitching / venting about the deniers, so yes they came across as petty and unprofessional. However, SEVERAL INDEPENDENT investigations found that there was no issue with the data or their findings. The venting was unprofessional, but the data stands true.

  • @joskemom And smoking isn't harmful either amirite!!!!! *high five dude!*

  • @psyberus

And carbon emissions on Earth are melting the icecaps of Mars amirite!!!

  • @Alastrian83 Show me a legit scientist, heck, anyone, that claims that ALL climate change is caused by man-made pollution (the whole basis of "proving the scientists wrong because you have found a naturally occurring climate change)

  • @psyberus And global warming is the biggest scam in history so you can chill out now and find another religion.

  • @joskemom Second biggest scam in history. The first being religion.

  • @Enricom23 Man made global warming biggest scam in history. Which 'religion' are you talking about?

  • The old lady claims she is not stupid. Yet she cannot tell the HUGE difference between a Carbon Pricing Scheme and a Carbon Tax. There is NOT a Carbon Tax, and nor will there be. The old lady is lying by claiming there is one.

  • @psyberus Are you for real ?.

    A TAX is a tax is a TAX !!!!!!!!

Fuckwit Gillard supporters are all the same - BRAINDEAD !

I support the politician who supports the citizens of this country,be it labor OR Liberal, but NOT ONE OF THEM HAS THE GUMPTION TO EXPOSE WHAT POWERS THAT CONTROL THEM !!!,When one does,I will vote for them.I very much doubt that occassion will arise in my lifetime.

Can'y you SEE what is happening to us Aussies ?,We are losing our quality of life, due to greed from a few.

  • @StructuredDRIVING A tax is a tax is a tax. Correct. Except the Carbon Pricing Scheme is not one. If you have a trailer load of rubbish to take to the tip to dump, and you get charged $10 to use the tip, is that considered a tax in your eyes, and identical to your income tax? I guess so, judging by your completely incorrect belief its a tax. Companies that want to dump their pollution in the air that we all breath are being charged to do so, similar to how an individual gets charged at the tip

  • @psyberus

So you're saying that the air above our entire continent is a garbage dump? :P

Seriously though, the government doesn't own the air above my house or your house or even the factories like a local council owns the land set aside for landfill.

It doesn't matter if you call it a 'price', its still a mafia style extortion racket, since apparently the taxes they already extort from us aren't enough for them to continue bribing their constituents.

  • @Alastrian83 You poor, precious thing you, suffering from "First World Problems". Waaah! I have to reconsider buying my 7th LCD TV for my McMansion! Poor me! I'm gonna jump online and cry and call people names and rant against politicians who DARE to put in legislation to slow down our rate of pollution. Anti-pollution is corrupt! WAAAHH and the Government is the Mafia! *sobs*. Poor things we are in First World countries, life will be hard, cutting down on daily cafe lattes from 4 to 3.

  • @psyberus

You just drip intellectual dishonesty don't you?

Your snarkiness about 'First World Problems' is a red herring. Your assumption that I said anti-pollution is 'corrupt' is a strawman. You've done nothing to prove that this legislation is really going to slow down pollution, so you can't assume that's an absolute given. And not everyone here lives in McMansions, drinks latte, or even watches TV.

  • @Alastrian83

As for your dismissiveness of 'government is a Mafia', consider this:

The government takes people's money without compensation, on the promise of 'services'. They also make it an 'offer you can't refuse'.

If you cross them, they send people wearing a colour to kidnap you. If another government crosses them, they send people wearing a colour to take them out.

Face it... everything governments do is EXACTLY what a criminal gang does, only on a grander scale.

  • @Alastrian83 Ok, so ALL governments that charge ANY tax are purely criminal organisations. I've seen the light. Thank you. Can I come live with you in your bunker hidden deep in the bush with all those firearms and cans of tinned food? We can hunt possums together to make clothes out of their skins, and maybe breed with our siblings. Down with Government! Long live anarchy! YEE HAAH!

  • @psyberus

Obviously you don't even know the first thing about anarchism. It seems you don't really understand libertarianism either... all you can do is something along the lines of jumping around hurling shit like a monkey. But then again, Statism is a very primitive ideology so I really shouldn't be surprised. I bet you didn't know the etymology of the word Government anyway. In Latin: Gubanare (To rule) Mente (Mind): To rule the mind.

  • @Alastrian83 You can teach me all sorts of words when we huddle in our bunker concocting new conspiracy theories and showing those damn "Guvments!" that us freedom fighters will pay taxes to NO ONE and that its survival of the fittest. If current Government are the Mafia for bringing in a tax that will raise the cost of living by less than 1%, Howard and the GST must be Satan and the hordes of Hell given the impact of the GST. Please provide address of your bunker, I will bring marshmallows

  • @psyberus

Your image of bunker dwelling tinfoil hat lunatics is getting very boring (or maybe it already was to begin with). Again, that is not what libertarianism OR anarchism are about. There actually is some sound philosophy behind it (eg. watch?v=ddq8FwIfw7w ) And yes, I detest John Howard too, though the GST is only the tip of the iceberg with him (treating refugees like rabid dogs and getting behind W's stupid, pointless and illegal wars are far worse).

  • @Alastrian83 Let me clarify: You hate Gillard, you detest John Howard, you loathe the Monarchy and Lord Monckton (whilst copying and pasting his incoherant rants), you hate ALL governments because charging taxes is clearly Mafia activity, you dislike Alan Jones, and you hate baby seals? (Ok I threw the last one in on an educated hunch). You certainly got a lot of hate going on there. You come across as the typical Anti Carbon pricing loon - just hating everything but unable to explain why.

  • @psyberus

Way to misrepresent my position again. I detest politicians and political institutions because I detest the initiation of violence (or threat thereof), coercion and authoritarianism in general.

I can't consistently say I love freedom, choice, peace, truth, beauty and reason if I don't hate their antithesis. Church and State ARE the antithesis of freedom, choice, peace, truth, beauty and reason.

  • @Alastrian83 That explains a lot. If EVERY human loved peace, truth, beauty etc, then maybe we could exist without laws. But the big business you defend, and claim the Mafia Government is virtually putting into slavery, are hurting the environment, which in turn, hurts people, animals etc. Where is the big business' desire for truth, beauty etc? Its not black and white. Your stance that any tax or the Government having laws is slavery is such an exaggeration as to cause worry for your sanity.

  • @psyberus

I don't defend big business. They wouldn't get so big and powerful, and able to get away with reckless and irresponsible behaviour if there was no government to bribe.

I'm not saying no law... I'm saying that these revenue raising statutes are an immoral and often ineffective way of getting anything done.

Another point to consider: big businesses don't have armies. They don't have all the weapons, they don't throw people in jail for having a certain type of leaf in their pockets.

  • @Alastrian83

What's truly insane is hurting people in the name of some arbitrary 'authority' like government. Its just as superstitious and primitive as hurting people in the name of some invisible man in the sky, some old jerk in Rome wearing a funny fish shaped hat, some asshole in Mecca screaming 'DEATH TO THE INFIDEL!' or some Babylonian God-King.

Government has become the God of the Godless world and is no less irrational than the God that Nietzsche pronounced dead a few centuries ago.

  • @Alastrian83 And I'm sure you appreciate the irony about you loving "truth" when every stance you have taken "proving" pollution is not bad and we shouldn't try to lessen has been utterly proven wrong and a lie, upon which you resort each time to your fallback response, "Well I hate the government because they create laws that deny us the freedom to do WHATEVER we want regardless of morals or consequences = therefore they are slavers, criminals etc." Thats a nice OPINION, but hardly relevent.

  • @psyberus

I'm not out to prove that pollution is not bad, or that we need to lessen it. I just want to see a peaceful, voluntary, mutually beneficial solution developed as opposed to another layer of authoritarian control or theft.

I'm sorry I don't conform to your Statist superstitions and your 'ends justify the means' thinking. I'm sorry I have to keep pointing out that governments always have to VIOLATE THE VERY RULES THEY IMPOSE in order to exist. True morality can only be universal.

  • @Alastrian83 The experts have done the research for me to highlight the likely reduction in the growth of pollution. I don't have to prove it, EXPERTS do it for me. Of which there are NONE that suggest otherwise. You were raving about how anti-pollution legislation is mafia-like. Not everyone does live in McMansions and have multiple LCDs, and those people are not the ones who will be a few dollars out, in fact, those below $150,000 will be slightly ahead, so they don't come here to cry n lie.

  • @psyberus

Your 'experts' are degenerate whores sucking on the teat of the public purse. Of course a government is going to want so-called 'intellectual' support to pillage the people. That's why nearly every 'solution' put forward by the intelligentsia involves more government control. If they aren't smart enough to figure out a solution that doesn't involve coercion or extortion, they shouldn't be taken seriously because they're the new priests now that religion has been taken down a peg.

  • @Alastrian83

As to your claim that those below $150 000 will be 'slightly ahead' under this scheme, your only source for that figure is the government itself... and possibly that Soros-backed group GetUp. That's only going to lead to confirmation bias before the fact, and as for after the fact... well you don't know if they're just telling YET ANOTHER LIE. Show me that politicians like Gillard never lie and I'll give you my waterfront property in Las Vegas :P

  • @Alastrian83 Actually, its been determined by independent research. Not proven, cos no one will know for sure until its in place. Show me ANYTHING credible to contradict it, and I'll give credit to the cry babies who act like Australia is the worst place in the world right now and are pro-pollution. I find it interesting that people are up in arms over electricity going up by less than 10%, yet they were SILENT when the big business raised it by 70% over the past 3 years for profits. Selecive?

  • @Alastrian83 Damn those experts and their knowledge, research and facts. Why can't they be more like those employed by the deniers? Doing NO research and making up opinions, providing no evidence or facts - but make up fake Lordships (Lord Monckton, the figurehead of the denialist movement and a compulsive grandiouse proven liar) or be angry on radio (Alan Jones, or Australia's biggest racist, Andrew Bolt)!?!

  • @psyberus

I detest monarchy, so I don't like Monckton out of principle, I don't like Alan Jones and I've never heard of Andrew Bolt. I don't base my opinions on hacks... which is why I also don't take anything seriously that advocates more involvement by government. Surely you've seen the standard day in parliament... its like watching a pack of school children bickering in the playground at recess.

  • @Alastrian83 And yet you parrot them all word for word pretty much, right down to the fake "I proved you wrong!" strawman antics - 2 most obvious ones being, "Scientists claim ALL climate change is man-made, so if I can find ONE example that is natural, then I have proven them wrong" (they admit its a mixture of both though) and 2, "Scientists claim taking action will REVERSE current levels of pollution, yet I can prove it won't". (they are trying to decelerate pollution, not reverse it)

  • @StructuredDRIVING i wish people would stop waiting for politicians to change things, they never will! they are bought and paid for

  • @psyberus

Call it a price, call it a tax, it hardly matters... its not going to do anything to stop pollution. All its going to do is make life more expensive. Its just another way for the government to be the parasite it really is.

  • I want to adopt this lady. Its hilarious the way Julia is pissed off which media person encouraged the question. She is so used to planning who is where and who gets to ask the questions with her ready made answers. Its great to see her flail in reality. TOO TOO FUNNY! GOLD video. bbaaahhhhhaaaaaaaa

  • My Dad says this old lady is an old Bitch an Gillard should of smack her in the head.

    Old Liberal Bitch,he said.

  • @2004ayden Your Dads one classy man! AND that would be a typical reaction from a labor troll who when they are proved wrong are violent. in response and are thugs like the unions.. TRUTH is GILLARD did lie and this outgoing woman had the balls to ask why. Ask Daddy is this country is a democracy? Surely she has a right for an answer which Gillard clearly didnt have. Speaking in circles and in tongues dosent prove to provide an explanation for why she lied..

  • @2004ayden your dad is a fucking moron

  • give this woman a medal.

  • just cut the crap... should have decked the bitch right there and then, a perfect oppurtunity lost.

  • gillard is a programed robot, always the same BS. Labor never again in my life time. hope she burns in hell, how can one woman be so evil and hate the people who she suppose to represents. World leaders are such bad quality now days it's clear someone else is pulling the strings.

  • @lehong1963 Charming. She is against pollution and here we have people wanting her dead and labelling her evil. How DARE she suggest that pollution is a bad thing! There are a few billionaires in Australia who are rich by being allowed to pollute the environment, how dare she cost the ultra rich money!!!?!?!?!?!!? RAAARRRGGGHHHH!! Did I do it right? Am I part of the cool, populist, emo, angry for no reason rent-a-crowd now? Cool.

  • @psyberus

Are you really so naive as to think that these 'few billionaires' you mention aren't going to get themselves exemptions, leaving the smaller businesses to pay?

Are you really so naive as to think that she's against pollution while she's allowing said billionaires to trash our best farmland and the water table through fracking?

Are you really so naive as to think that taxing a substance that plants breathe is going to slow it any rather than just make life more expensive?

  • @Alastrian83 Point 1, you are probably correct, they are so dodgy and corrupt that they will manage to dodge a lot. But thats like saying, "Criminals will break the laws so lets not introduce ANY laws". Brilliant.

    2. Its a positive step to reduce the increasing rate of pollution. Yes there is still a lot, but some action is better than doing NOTHING as the Liberal alternative suggests.

    3. Its a pricing scheme a LOT of harmful emmissions, all of which have a common element - carbon. tbc..

  • @psyberus

    1. Strawman

    2. You still haven't explained how its going to reduce pollution... again, the worst polluters are the richest companies like GE who will most likely be exempted.

    3. Its a racket.

  • @Alastrian83 NO ONE has said it will reduce pollution. It will slow the growth of it though. For someone that goes on about "Strawmen" everytime he is proven wrong, you sure like to use them yourself. Do you know wha the word "Decelerate" means? Allow me to explain. Imagine you are speeding in your car, dangerously. You need to reduce speed. By applying the break, you will still be going forward, but at a less rate. You will NOT suddenly reverse. Understand yet?!?

  • @psyberus

You've only really proven me wrong in your own mind.

And while we're arguing semantics, decelerating the rate of pollution IS a reduction of pollution. Say there's a factory churning out 10 tonnes of emissions per year, and the owners purchase a new type of filter for the smoke stacks that will cut down what they churn out by 30%, the next year, they're churning out 7 tonnes where they would have otherwise been churning out 10.

  • @Alastrian83

And again, slapping a tax, or price on emissions... you haven't proven that its going to reduce or decelerate the rate of pollution. Like I said... the worst offenders are influential enough with the political system that they'll be exempt, while their competitors will be paying up.

The fake 'environmentalism' your dear leader is pushing is a thin veneer that covers its true nature as crony corporate collectivism, which, if you follow Mussolini's own definition is FASCISM.

  • @Alastrian83 Seriously? They churn out 10 tonnes. 10 in the air. They then churn out 7. Thats 17 tonnes in the air. Thats an INCREASE of 7. Yes, its less than they would have put in the air without the clean tech. But pollution in the air is still raised, but less than expected had NO change been done. This is the entire point. However, Abbott and co act like its designed to REVERSE the pollution and cry about it - in our example, he pretends its meant to make that 10 in the air down to 8.

  • @psyberus and whenever ANYONE smugly states, "It won't REDUCE pollution", this is what they mean, they are truthfully stating it won't make that 10 reverse to 8 tonnes, ie remove pollution. But that was NEVER the point or the claim, its always been about reducing our future levels, a deceleration, so the whole "Won't reduce pollution, won't REVERSE global warming" folk are deliberately twisting the intention. (You may be familiar with the tactic = strawman)

  • @psyberus

And anyone who smugly states "Only the GOVERNMENT can do something about this" is giving in to a brutal, savage, primitive 'Might Makes Right' code of morality. That might have been all well and good for cavemen in the wild, it might have still worked for the Sumerians, but we're long overdue to be evolving out of that crap. We already undermined the power of the Church, its time for the State to go that way too.

  • @psyberus

So what's emitted NEVER EVER disperses naturally then? It just piles on, and on and sits up there forever then?

  • @Alastrian83 Thats besides the point in the very basic illustration. The fact remains, that the level of pollution the hypothetical company has pumped out is still 17 tonnes. Yes we all know it disperses, but at current rates its been proven that the rate of pollution is DRASTICALLY ahead of the dispersion rate, hence the build up, the barrier to heat escaping etc. Don't try to be smart by bringing in details into our basic scenario, cos you know I will just counter with facts each time.

  • @psyberus

Even if I did concede that man-made climate change is for real and it isn't the Sun that's doing most of it, that still doesn't make it right to impose authoritarian controls on how people conduct their business. Every new law is a gun to someone's head, and every new tax is another theft from those who rightfully earned it doing actual work creating something that someone else values.

  • @Alastrian83 Yeah, laws are stupid... right. You do realise that Government action in terms of anti-pollution is a last resort? The issue of pollution has been a MAJOR one for decades now, with scientists and experts all making warnings, and Governments pretending to care... meanwhile, the big business that you believe should have no restrictions to what they do, and shouldn't abide by any morals, did pretty much NOTHING to combat their excessive pollution. Now they cry foul.

  • @psyberus

Common law (ie. don't kill, don't harm, don't steal) can work without government. Thing is that government has to violate those very principles to 'enforce' them.

As for governments pretending to care in the past decades, what makes you think today is any different?

  • @Alastrian83

And as for 'restricting' what big businesses do. Its the privilege your dear leaders give to them that allows them to get so big, powerful and irresponsible. If they had to face going out of business because people are buying from their competitor with the innovative process that isn't contaminating the water table or churning out fumes that choke half the city, they might pay more attention to what they're doing to the environment.

  • @Alastrian83 Its not a price on carbon dioxide per se, but a whole range of polluting emissions, and the term carbon is used as a short form for carbon dioxide, and this is used as its a common factor in nearly all. I prefer the term "emissions" as its more accurate. Contrary to your belief, its not a mafia scheme to deny plants some food. Please do SOME (ANY!?!?) research before posting publicly, you embarrass yourself when you highlight the fact you don't know the first thing about the issue

  • @psyberus

/sigh another strawman. I didn't say its a mafia scheme to kill the plants, its a scam to raise REVENUE by doing absolutely nothing that creates value or improves the standard of living.

As for your 'research', are you talking about that scam that's been exposed TWICE (and possibly counting) with Climategate? Studies that omit data that contradicts a political agenda are hardly legit.

  • @Alastrian83 Do some REAL research on Climategate before referencing it. After the hype and exaggeration died down, REAL investigations were done and there was no wrongdoing. Yes it looked bad because they were saying how the pro-polluters would twist the data and so it was better not release it, but the actual data STILL supported climate change (one set of data amongst THOUSANDS mind you).

  • @psyberus

Can you say the same thing about the latest round? The story only just broke.

Besides, it would have been in the interest of the state funded intelligentsia to whitewash the whole affair. They can't have people losing faith in their 'science', else those big fat tenures might start drying up when people start asking WTF are these people doing with their money.

  • @Alastrian83

And btw... before you misrepresent my position again, I do support science, but only if it is science that can be applied to technological advancements that will improve our standard of living and promote peace and prosperity. State funded pet projects that yield nothing of value to anyone but the politicians or lobbyists that fund them don't sit well.

Whether or not there is climate change going on, get the government the fuck out of the debate AND out of the solutions proposed.

  • @Alastrian83 If you support science that improves our standard of living then you will be pleased to hear about the flip side of the CPS agenda - a LOT of money will be pumped into budding industries that build clean technology. New advances, new jobs, whole new industries are expecting to BOOM. You know, the flip side of coin that the "doom and woe - I get one less cafe latte per day" raving, angry-at-everything people "conveniently" completely and utterly forget about?

  • @psyberus

So you're throwing another government concocted fairy tale again. That might win over someone who is economically illiterate enough to be a Keynesian, but more likely the recipients of those subsidies are going to be people who are already cozy with the government, rather than who is most competent at creating something that someone will value.

Simple economics lesson summed up in a rap song: watch?v=GTQnarzmTOc

  • @Alastrian83 You mean the stuff that they have held onto for years in deliberate attempts to cause trouble at select times? Haven't seen much on it yet. But I expect, like last time, the same old select media (bought and paid for by big polluters) will make a big deal out of, independent reports will be made into it, and it will be seen once again to be hype. Lets assume the worst and "climategate" REALLY is dodgy this time, its still ONE piece of evidence amongst THOUSANDS.

  • @psyberus

Actually, there's plenty of independent and alternative media that isn't bought and paid for by the big polluters (btw the same big polluters who lobby BOTH sides of politics, yours is not an exception) who question the 'official' story about climate change.

BTW can you explain why it is that all the planets of the solar system warm and cool at the same time Earth does? Surely our carbon emissions don't reach Jupiter. Surely its not our fault the Sun is doing what it does :P

  • @Alastrian83 Let me analyse your strawman - Fact: Scientists claim that SOME climate change is attributed to man-made pollution, but it is also well established that other completely natural factors ALSO contribute to it. Your strawman - PRETEND that instead scientists are claiming ALL climate is man made (ie, lie), so if you find ONE example of it occurring naturally, then you have "proven" them wrong. *Golf clap* Its the same old trick every denier uses. You should be on redneck radio.

  • @psyberus

I'm not a denier and I'm not a redneck. I just doubt the integrity of any study that big government politicians, lobbyists and think tanks fund and use as justification to increase the size and power of the State. The taking of someone's work product without compensation is theft at best, slavery at worst, and the initiation of force is immoral and primitive. As for the 'expertise' of politicians, the only thing they're good at is bickering like schoolchildren at everyone's expense.

  • @psyberus I find it ironic that you label Governments that charge taxes as organised crime ie, Mafia, but place all your support in those that obtained the climategate files - by illegal hacking and stealing that led to climategate "revelations" (read, exaggerations and lies) in the first place. People that hack and steal and lie should be trusted right?

  • @psyberus

So Bradley Manning deserves to rot in a military prison then for (allegedly) showing the world how brutal and violent the State can be?

Julian Assange deserves to be lynched for running one of the world's largest repositories of leaked information about government skullduggery then?

Way to side with Rush Limbaugh and Billo The Clown there. But then again, your dear leader Gillard is towing that line too.

  • A Hung Parliament..? Australia has just been Hung.. high and dry..! and this Turdilian just keeps moving us forward..? with more lies..! It's sad the Media is following suit..

The Queen's Puppets are doing a great job robbing families.. creating more battlers..! more home-less..!

  • Julia Gillard = Julia Lizard.

  • I just hear what she is saying but it doesn't make any sense, her blame-shifting excuses are worse than what my little brother uses for when he does things he knows he isn't supposed to.

  • I like that elderly woman... lets fly her to the US and she can question all the senators and Reps that she wants to

  • "When you start telling the truth i'll listen to you"

That elderly lady just stood up to numerous assualts (and yes, the constant slapping and grabbing by Gillard amounts to numerous assaults) and being stood over and interrupted by Gillard's attack dog douchebag "who could've known we'd have a hung parliament" sidekick loser.

Where in the hell was EVERY other Australian backing up her? If I ever meet that elderly lady I'd shake her hand and thank her for confronting JuLIAR Gillard the grub.

  • @venuecam A friendly pat on the shoulder is now assault now is it? Grow up.

  • @psyberus

It might not be assault but it is an intrusion of personal space. Just because you don't seem to mind being touched by complete strangers doesn't mean its automatically OK for everyone.

  • @Alastrian83 That poor lady, someone touched her shoulder gently! OUTRAGE! Credit to Gillard for not coldly telling the lady - "Please get your facts straight before accussing others of being liars". The height of rudeness is to approach strangers and call them liars without even knowing the facts. Now you may like complete strangers holding you up to call you a liar, but that doesn't mean its automatically OK for everyone.

  • This one woman in black single handedly shut down Gillard's big "shoe leather tour".

Notice how close her cronie pit bull in the suit stands in front of her trying to intimidate her. Notice as well how many time Gillard grabs the elderly lady as if she was desperately trying to stop her from talking.

What kind of a grubby, disgraceful minister would attempt to be such a dictatorial and intimidating ogre to an honest and soveriegn Australian?

If it was my mum i'd have sued Gillard for assault

  • I used to work for a boss who was a lying dis honest Prick.

Today He has Cancer in his Testicles.

Today He is A Better Man cause he is Apologizing to everyone he lied to before His Time is Up.

Everyone forgives him cause he now speaks the truth and receives respect.

God always catches Up with those who lie and The CIRCUMSTANCES are worse for those who commit TREASON Like Julia Gillard.

  • That Pat on The back she gives that Lady is the spot where Gillard wants to stab All Australians.

  • Julia Gillard is surrounded By Fools.

That BraVe woman was the 1st real Australian that Gillard has ever met.

  • like the bit when she says less carbon in atmosphere and america uses a third of the world,s oil and use,s around 1100 liters of oil a second carbon tax is nothing but the greedy goverment putting the cost of liveing again.

  • the little old lady is my hero, she kept calm, she put that interrupting dickhead in his place, and she got Gillard to admit she lied,

but did anyone else notice how the interrupting dickhead said "who'd have know we'd have a hung parliment" that just proves that the "greens" run the country and that ass-fucker Bob Brown is the PM and Gillard is just a puppet.

  • @hot318 also... anyone else get annoyed hearing that bitch Gillard say at 2:20 "we're gonna get where i wanted to go"

as usual it does not matter what "the people" want , it only matters what the PM and her asshole party want.

  • @hot318

I already got annoyed the moment Gillard opened her mouth and spewed out her bullshit in that hideous voice.

But seriously, you're right, most Australians don't want what Gillard is doing, and she's acting like a dictator by doing it anyway.

If this is not evidence that 'representative' democracy really doesn't represent the people, I don't know what would be.

  • the best way to prove that you're stupid is by saying "i'm not stupid".

  • @chudunk the best way to make a PM look stupid is to ask her why she lied then listen to her pitch her carbon tax over and over ad nauseum. *vomit*

  • These Clowns are not elected they are selected by corporate bosses who pay these parasites elections campaings for every favour under the sun, Gillard gets elected Corporations make up laws to try to fuck the population. All politicians do is makepeoples lives fucking misery, vile vermin who scam lie and manipulate and pretend they are celebrities.. i have and never will support these pathetic Rats..

  • Ju liar Gillard, no1 believes her Lies, what makes it worse is she has no idea what she is doing and she continues to lie as if shes fooling somebody she is finished politically and by her own doing has opened the eyes of the political bullshit these politicians are involved in. Come next year Ju liar and her carbon trax fraud gets the Boo. Ju liar your Fired...

  • Julia forget about the carbon TAX before you send Australia into a Recession . you lired to the Australian people so the sooner we can put you and your Government in the gutter were you's belong the better. we did it here in NEW SOUTH WALES to the out of date Labor state Government so we will vote your Government out to . we Australians have had enough of your BULLSHIT. time 2 go Julia.

  • This women knows, getting in by Manipulation that is true

  • All their LIes!!!

    Gillard (Before the Election)

"There will be no Carbon Tax under the government I lead.

    Swan(Before the Election):

" Certainly what we have rejected is this hysterical allegation, some how we are moving towards a Carbon Tax from the LIberal and their advertising"

  • Wong(Before the Election):

A carbon tax is a less efficient way in the Australian Government's view of dealing

    with this issue.

Unfortunately a carbon tax is not the silver bullet some people would think.

Know that you can't have any environmental certainty with a carbon tax.

  • don't touch me bitch

  • Julia Gillard is a Fabian. Carbon Tax is LIFE TAX. Gillard is a Puppet, a traitor, a lier, and unless YOU stand up and say no to the Carbon Tax it will eventually consume EVERYTHING including YOU. Get rid of Julia Gillard and the whole puppet show. Get rid of all of them. It is time for a fresh start. Community action is needed. Come together as a strong community and flush away the parasites. STOP PAYING TAXES!!! STOP PAYING TAXES!!! End this silly game once and FOR ALL.
  • its time 2 go Julia we have had enough of the bullshit from laboe . i have voted labor forever. but time 2 go 2 the gutter . where you all belong.

  • "The threat of environmental crisis will be the 'international disaster key' that will unlock the New World Order".

Mikhail Gorbachev, Former President of the Soviet Union, member of the Club of Rome

  • "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself." - Alexander King Co-Founder of the Club of Rome, Circa 1991.

  • humans account for 4% of co2 emissions the rest is natural, the sun is causing this "global warming"

what the tree huggers wont tell you is that every other planet in the solar system is warming so how are suv's and coal fired power staions causing this?!?

Wake up hippies!! if they get this tax through it will only go up & up!!.

it has already ruined NZ! dont let them fool you!!

  • Climate change is a tricky subject to discuss but, the tax is necessary to lead the way for other countries to follow. Some of the claims being made by those opposed to giving the next generation a habitable climate - are just rubbish.

New Zealand has carbon pricing- has the sky fallen there?NO

Some USA states have similar schemes-has there big job losses as a direct result of a carbon tax? NO

Change is never easy but, we need to provide the impetus to move away from dwindling fossil fuels.

  • they all lie,,they are parasites AND RAPIST

  • That woman is a brave and forthright woman. Good on you Miss for getting into her face and taking the argument to her!

  • it just come to show that people really don't have any power what so ever you can say whatever you like as a politician and a lie becomes anything you want.

  • Watch this interesting interview :

    /watch?v=3NDfwkr8hig

  • Such a psychopath that women

  • There is no such thing as carbon "pollution". Carbon dioxide is part of the life cycle.

The carbon tax will be paid to the Rothschilds owned banking cartel. These people own private islands and yachts the size of destroyer class warships.

The people of the world are not serfs to the Rothschilds / Rockefellers.

  • @paulrprichard

Nor is there anything such as a "temporary tax", as Gillard said it would be, unless temporary is measured in decades. Can anyone remember when a revenue-producing tax has ever been dropped from the government's money-clawing agenda? She lied, and now she is lying about the original lie. I think that the lady calling her out was amazing to stick to her guns. Australia needs more people like her and Kevin Bracken to stand up to the dreadful people who are ruining Australia.

  • Rothschilds hypocrisy: Nathaniel Rothschild, the only son of U.K. financier Jacob Rothschild, agreed to invest $3 billion in two Indonesian coal companies through Vallar Plc, allowing the nation’s biggest producer of the fuel to list in London.

Indonesia overtook Australia to become the world’s biggest exporter of power-station coal in 2005, and prices for the fuel, set annually, rose 40 percent this year, according to Morgan Stanley.

It's nothing but a carbon tax con.

  • @chockimon brilliant response!

  • What every Australian should know: Carbon Tax con:

Rothschild Australia and E3 International are set to become key players in the international carbon credit trading market, an emerging commodity market that analysts estimate could be worth up to US$150 billion by 2012.

So basically the Rothschilds get richer and everyone else gets poorer and nothing is done to combat environmental pollution.

  • It's a damn shame we can't put a tax on a Politicians lies. We'd all be millionaires. Don't talk down to us about carbon taxes until you hypocritical politicians practise what you preach.

  • @chelonia1663 Yeah, lol First they lie, now it's lies within lies and they sell it as the truth.

  • Why shouldn't the top 500 polluters pay us this small fee for polluting our air?

  • @markvansomething

what!! no one is paying 'us' anything mate, unless 'us' are the government coffers.

we, the taxpayer will be paying for this tax.

these 500 polluters create the things we all use and pay for everyday. if your so concerned turn off your power at the meter box. sell your vehicles then hold your breathe so as to not exhale any Co2.

  • @snowybaz We have been alowing polluters to externalize the costs of their pollution. That is a market failure. The carbon pollution fee simply fixes that market failure. Someone has to pay the cost of this pollution, either the polluters or future generations. You would rather the money stay in the bigg poluters "coffers" snowybaz. (Say good bye to Australian snow fields too while you are at it snowybaz)

  • @markvansomething

i was skiing this week. we had 6 inches of snow here in tas, 2 months early. ive been here 8 years and its been getting cooler every year. we havent had a proper summer in 4 years. we had 3 days over 25 oC summer gone. i burnt 15 ton of timber last year to heat our home, previous to that was 12 ton, previous to that was 10 ton. my creek 'used to' run dry every summer. did someone tell you it is getting warmer or did you make your own determination?? i suspect the former.

  • @snowybaz So you think its global cooling do you? Well your friend Abbott wants to spend $10.5 billion of your tax dollard fighting global warming. So snowybaz, are a climate science denier, and therefore you have nobody to vote for.

Even Abbott is not as ignorant about the climate as you.

  • @markvansomething where did i say global cooling? mr abbott is not my friend. hes just like the rest of them, a thieving parasite. ive never voted for anyone in my life. climate science denier? i worked as a technician with the tas environment division, monitoring air quality. my work colleagues were and still are involved in varying aspects of 'monitoring' environmental changes here in tas and antarctica. no discernible changes anywhere.

tracey grimshaw said it so it must be true?? dream on.

  • @snowybaz Well I appreciate your in-depth study of your wood pile, but i will stick with the consensus of real climate scientists.

  • @markvansomething If you look out the window and see something that doesn't sync with what the newscaster is telling you on the idiot box in your living room, you just close the drapes and assume you were mistaken. whatever makes you feel safe and reassured buddy. i once was a niave commie greeny too, but then i grew up.

  • Gillard is insane but in the 2007 election Howard also wanted to bring in a carbon tax. Both parties are puppets of the U.N.

  • Why is it that Gillard has a very big Pinocchio nose like another Climate change nut John Key of New Zealand.

    Both Fucking liers

  • Good on ya Miss Senior public, you didn't budge an inch.

  • how did OZ vote for that twit?

  • @dave777blaster

funny that. she wasnt voted in by anyone. they turfed the milky bar kid(krudd) out, as she was deputy, she stole his place. same as lara giddings in tas. no one voted her in either. the cuntries fukked. someone hit the 'reset' button.

  • oh dear ....... you're shocked because a politician lied?

let's see ..... did she lead the world into endless wars designed tp prop up 'national interest' ..... er ... no.

Is she polluting the world? .... er .... no ?

I want my grandchildren to live in a world NOT beholden to oil interests and hidden agendas and I wont get it with the Opposition here in Oz..

If a carbon tax aligns business to a more sustainable future then so be it.

    You're shocked by a lie?

    Try this ...The Federal Reserve

  • @saucepanbach You really need to educate yourself. If you place your trust in the hands of these politicians and elitists, I'm sorry to say, your grandchildren won't have a future. Watch the George Hunt videos on youtube, then you will see it's all a lie. A trojan horse. These people have no intention of fixing the Earth, it's all simply about them acquiring more wealth and more power, while controlling the masses. Read up on Agenda 21.

  • Wow that old white women more brave than man in Australia, how come women more brave than man there? She really good, ur leader is fucked, thats the most dumbest leader like a broken record telling same story & doing nothing? Maybe the next person in australia ask that dumb red head about CHEMTRAILS & Atmospheric Geoengineering Program the wonderful plane spraying western project. Julia will like jail.

  • kick our the liars!

"the price of a lie is the truth!"

  • what about the chemtrails gillturd

  • If Julia Gillard had one ounce of decency she would resign. She is nothing more than a patronising liar who would say anything to cling to power. The woman who confronted her is an absolute gem.

  • Professor Ian Plimer explains the truth about Climate Change and Political scientists who pander to Governments for funding money:

    /watch?v=PgNeUTAFy7U

We are not undergoing global change.... but GALACTIC change, and Gillard the Dillard doesn't care as long as Aussies pay more tax and struggle more financially.

  • She's be better not to coming to my shopping region as I wouldn't be any bit nice to her. She is a person of foreign allegiances and destroying this Nations along with her freak Bob Brown.

Btw, Rudd is just as bad.

  • Liars. Julian isn't along. the science fraternity has been proven liars too, or very manipulated due to money and political reasons.

I will never pay a tax on carbon, especially so when the tax is an international one.

  • We can sack all Parliament next election & keep sacking them until some bastard gets up & starts telling the real truth about the criminals " THE BANKS " who control Parliament lock stock & two smoking barrels. 99% of tax gos to a bank on unnecessary gov borrowed expenditure . The Truth is there is no debt or loan to any bank folks only your lead to believe the fraud banks create & loan money.

Search Youtube " How to sack the Australian Parliament at election time " OR /watch?v=phL0b18ruGM

  • 1:50 Temporary? Indeed YES all zombies will vote for Abbott next election duped by they're own greed .Forget the tax for a tick ,all these political parasites work for one party & this party is the federal reserve BANK pulling all the strings who is robing us blind in more ways you can imagine but the real EXPENSE is FREEDOM because Abbott has his own legislation that will remove the tax YES & the last of your liberties by enshrining a BS law that deems what you breath "co2 "a pollutant. • Well done!!! Fabian/Marxist Gillard toad!!!

  • Fabian socialists always lie, the ends justify the means.

  • Well done that woman.

The problem is psychopaths can lie without even flinching, and there is a reason that politics is full of psychopaths.

  • Pat me.... on the shoulder & explain why you lied! I wouldn't be so polite! & your little stooge beside you would be looking a lot less aggres
