They did and after they played Mike stayed on stage and slapped hands with the first couple rows and was all smiles. I remember him clapping and pointing up to the upper level as he walked off. that's Akerfeldt's sense of humour. look at any video where he is talking to the fans. he shows little to no emotion, and will make dry jokes. on the Roundhouse Tape cd, he tell sthe crowd to "shut the fuck up", he doesn't actually want them to do that.

watch any of the Bloodbath clips too. it' the same thing.

Mike's one of the nicest professional musicians i've met.

Akerfeldt seems very cool and collected during the interview. Can't wait to see them in Columbus this Friday! Mike sort of disappointed me talking about his being drunk so often. It would seem that someone with so much talent would forgo that silliness for discipline like he demonstrates as a drummer. I think Mike left Drinking along time back and the songs which you hear like The Glass Prison,This Dying Soul,The Root Of All Evil,and Now Repentance which is the second last part to the chapter are on his drinking problems and a re therapy guide so people quit drinking and all the non sense so respect Mike he regrets all the drinking and all.

The one time I got to see Dream Theater live was back in January and the show was cut short due to power failure. But what I saw before it happened, was one hell of a show. Yet to see Opeth but I definitely will next time they are in Australia!
