From what I understand, he had an Class C driver license. the Bus he was driving requires en class B. it varies from state to state, but class C is for lighter vehicles, whereas class B and A License are for the bigger transportation vehicles like Semis, etc.

@stevenberger By they I assume you mean the state of Texas? They didn't let him drive.  He didn't have a class B license and an endorsement to carry passengers which is required to drive a vehicle of that size. In the first place, I don't think he qualified to even get one based on other DWI's he has had. In other words, he was not qualified to drive that bus. And to make matters worse, he was drunk.
