So to win take the Catherine on a road that you know where the graveyards are, but that she might not. Since graveyards don't move like those pesky cows, you will be ready for them.

We do like an eight hour drive every year just before Christmas, to my grandparents house, and I'm going to make my family play cows the whooole way. Haha, I'll probably be just as bad as John but it will keep me occupied!

The part about "loving one another or dying" is exactly what I have been feeling recently when looking back on a very complex, emotional election in California (and, you know, the nation). But especially with prop 8 in CA it seems people on both sides fail to see each other as fellow humans

In the end the "my opponents are evil and stupid" is damaging to the democratic process because it causes your view to stagnate, resulting in dogma rather than actual discourse.

Obama is not as simple as the 1 dimensional caricature that John imagines him to be. He is not motivated just by a desire to do good. He has a set of motivations that include helping his wealthy backers, supporting Israeli apartheid, and the usual sort of motivations US presidents have.
We have a game like cows in my family only its called zit tractor and for every cow you "zit" you get a point and you get two points for "zitting" a tractor person with the most points when we get to our destination wins. I pretty much dominate, but it's pretty easy to spot both cows and tractors in rural Iowa.
Thanks for making my broken leg feel a bit better! Hank its a good thing I bought your CD as it is one of the few things that makes me happy right now, and the other is vicodin! This makes me sound like a drug addict, but when you break your fibula in half some pain pills are definately needed! Wishing my bones were made of more awesome at this time!

i finished reading paper towns today, and LOVED IT! i seriously have went without sleep for like two days in attempts to clean my entire apartment, work 9 - 11 hour shifts, and read Paper Towns. i can't wait to see you guys on the 13th in pittsburgh!!!!! <33

I think Hank should talk about the late Michael Crichton in his next video. Because Crichton was not only awesome and a fantastic author, but because he gave speeches about the environment and global condition.
