I think what the judges did was discrimination, if is he a natural castrato that's just the way his voice is, and it fits better for songs in that range. They shouldn't base it off of whether he sounds like a man or a woman, it should be based off of being a good singer. If he sings good, that should be all that matters.

HE is a natural castrato. For those that don't know what that means...he essentially never hit puberty. He has the girlish voice that pre pubescent boys have, and always will. Simon was just being an ass. the guy has a good voice, just not a traditionally male voice.
