Well not that it really matters but let me say this. My stepdad is a manager at one of the parks so I am very familiar with the rides and I like to think I know them very well. This is a great recreation of a great Disney World ride and I feel you really did it a great justice indeed. Good job I can't wait to see more from all the other videos I've seen you won't let any of us down. On to view some more of these master pieces :P.

Disney did make a game called Disney Coaster but it has no resemblence to RCT

I've ridden the actually ride twice and for a RCT recreation this is good. My favorite part of the ride is when you start going backwards and it's pitch black! : )

happens the first time the ride train

goes backwards.

It's a little off because I wanted to match the audio with the ride, but that's basically what happens. You go down a helix backwards to the left (just like that), then go back up along the same helix, level out along the same helix, and gradually make your way around to that part of the mountain. Overall the helix takes you to speeds of about 40MPH in the dark and lasts for about 15seconds or so. The whole turn is probably somewhere near 500-600 degrees long.

Well the real story behind this is someone challenged them to build a really good roller coaster because they believed that Rockin Roller Coaster was a more updated version of Flight of Fear at King's Island. So they set out to make this coaster and was voted in the top 25 in the United States which surprised quests. So merely, this coaster was just a competition that turned out to be very, very good.

go for a "looping coaster" or a "corkscrew coaster". Once you're comfortable with those, move on to the "extended coaster" and others. Save the more complicated ones (multidimensional and robotic) for last because they're very complicated to learn and master. I still haven't.

perfect representation. i rode this 14 times and i couldnt get enough of it. the only thing that could be better was the huge drop, if u could add camera flashes(thats where they take your picture) and make the drop a little larger and steeper, it would be absolutely perfect. not tryin to sound like an ass, just trying to help and give constructive critcism :) your very talented my friend

Thanks for the advice! It definitely could be better. I didn't have any camera flash custom scenery at the time. Oh, and I have a cool secret: I actually made the drop steeper than it actually is. If you look at the drop from the side in real life it's actually far from steep. Seriously, it has a nothing steepness to it. You can get an idea of this if you go to my favorites and look at my latest Everest video favorited. And the drop is its accurate height of 80ft =) but thanks for the advice!

Oh and I forgot to mention that if you go to the favorited video I mentioned for Expedition Everest, you have to look at the end of the video at the block brake section; there it gets backed up so the videographer shows the train going down the hill from the side. It's easy to think that the drop is steep though because of the way the Imagineers made it mostly visible from just straight on outside the mountain, and of course on the actual ride everything looks bigger and steeper lol =P

it's some code you have to enter into the RCT3 text. i forgot exactly what and how because you only have to do it once. it allows you to overlap track segments on the game. all i know is that the information is on the atari forums so try looking it up there

as i've mentioned in previous comments, this is not one coaster.... this is 3 separate coasters that i flimed separately and then combined together through film editing. the coaster track is an Extended Coaster (available on Wild! expansion pack) but this type of coaster does not go backwards. Instead, i had to start it from the lowest point, set up a powered launch that would get it to just reach the top point of the track and then film and let it roll back to the starting point

you might think it has a loop because it really does feel like it on the ride.... but trust me it's an illusion that the imagineers did on purpose. the way you go down quickly then up then level off then up again gives you a similar sensation to going upside down. i've worked at animal kingdom if that helps my credibility any more... but trust me.... no loop. you can even look it up on the Roller Coaster Database
