Not jealous, just pointing out some facts. Many of these cars became extinct with the cold weather, the snow, and lack of garages. Progress and what seemed like the need to keep up with the times was also to blame. A lot of the music which the West coast claims as part of their culture was born in New York and other big eastern cities. Me, it would take a garage, with all the right stuff to make driving one of these bad girls. Keep it original also, thanks for the picture. Joe Chicago
hey--music and cars CHANGED TOGETHER in those years--59 impala looked different than 61 impala--now since the gas crunch and disco, the chassis looks all the same year in and year out except with minor technical changes and music hasnt changed drastically since 1988 no matter whose singing it
im only 20 and i love this music!!!! i would like to find one of those festiables where they dress up for the 50s , someone tell me how i can get into one??
Oh, I love this. It's such a sweet song. Made me smile. Those were such sweet romantic times... Thank you for posting. This definitely went on my favourites list.
thanks man. hey those videos you posted of the san anto westside sound. that set is bad ass man. I have them but they are at my dad's in san anto. think there is 9 or 10 cd's to it.
oh thats cool, i only have a few songs from those albums. i dont have the actual albums but i want to get them. u should try and post some of them on here.
Man you're cool...but that bold blue 59 mobile would look a lot better on me. The weather and the dependability of those autos made it easier to replace parts than to give up ethyl and high premium octane gasoline. The most important feature of a car was the amount of room in the back seat. Inheriting one of these cars from Dad or older family members, like a job, or friends of the girls in your family explains how so many young kids began to appear in these cars later on. Joe

A great song to play in your 59 Impala. I'll be playing it in my 59 Biscayne sedan as soon as it's finished. VERY COOL! Thank you.

I agree. You couldn't dream of an artist today recording a song as innocent as this.
