  • I really appreciate the tutorial. Thanks for the effort; I'm jazzed to get back to the box now and start making some sense of the Tone King!

  • @chinacat2002 Oh hey my pleasure. It's a great amp. You need to dig into it and start exploring it. I've yet to find a bad setting on it.

  • Every time I find an amp I really like it's always 2k plus hahahaha

  • Hey what's the finish of your guitar?

  • @BoogieEngineer Hey - it's caramel burst. It's one of the finishes that the 339 comes in as the standard offering. Thanks for watching.

  • Nice demo, but next time cut the sound of the mic you use for your voice while your playing. It really messes up the sound.

  • Very nice demo, thanks for walking through the amp so thoroughly! Appreciate it!!

  • @starsighter13 Thanks a bunch. It's a wonderful amp if you are a fender style amp guy. It took me a while to figure out that's exactly what I am and I'll never wish for anything else.

  • Very nice demo. I don't think Mark would be happy to hear you refer to his phase 4 power technology as "power scaling", though, since that term is proprietary and belongs to another company. I know what you mean, but other people may not. I still prefer my Meteor II overall to the Metro, but your demo makes me want to pick one up again. Great job.

  • Such an awesome demo! Nice and methodical. Excellent playing too. Great tone, of course. Thank you for walking us through the amp. I tried one of these once and it's been my holy grail amp ever since. That Phase IV technology is genius. I like that you can get some drive out of the clean channel. Again, thank you for the demo and well done, sir.

  • @pseudmaged Thanks a lot for the comments on the video and my playing. I'm just a part-timer hobbyist that's been at it for a while...translated - I'm getting old!

It's such a great amp that's so versatile. I've really reduced my pedal board down to one OD and a delay. It took me a while to get to the point where I realized that this 6V6 combo is the amp that suits me and my style better than anything else. Good luck to you sir and happy playing.

  • I'll probably buy a TK metro. I jusy sold a Meteor II, which was a sweet amp. I agree, the ORANGE is totally different. Both great amps

  • I owned the Imperial that I loved. I sold it to buy the TK Metro. But, its sooo expensive. So, I ended up getting a ORANGE Rockerver MKII 1x12 for cheap. Love the Orange, fun amp. Of coarse, the clean on the TK is better, but not the OD. I didn't care for the lead channel on the TK, the TWEED. But, the RHYTHM channel was the best

  • @motokev I would think anything by Orange is going to be significantly different. They are great amps but just not in the same genre. If you don't like a tweed tone than this amp is not the one for you. I agree that the rhythm channel tone is super. I happen to like the lead channel a whole bunch too. Took my pedal board down to one OD and a delay after this amp and I love the combination. Thanks for the comments.

  • Nice Demo!! I'm thinking of getting one.. by the way, does the amp bring its own foot pedal??

  • @vfny Yes it does. It comes with a two button footswtich. One for the rhythm/lead channel and one for the reverb. Thanks for the positive comments on the video!

  • Nice Demo!! I'm thinking of getting one..

  • Excellent demo and guitar playing thank you. I have a Metro too and yes, that's what it sounds like. Great great amp.

  • @jacksparks11 Thanks for checking out the vid. Unbelievably good amp isn't it? I'm still exploring the many ways you can adjust it and get different tones.

  • @crazyb3fan You're not wrong. I've been experimenting recently with clean sounds on the lead channel - channel volume low, output power full on, depending where you set the mid bite you can get some great sounds. Made me laugh when you said "this amp is loud" And how!! Never come across anything like that from a 1 x 12 combo before. It rocks! Lead channel all controls to 6, output power 6-8, I plugged in my les paul - instant 70s rock heaven. Sounds great in a band mix too.

  • @jacksparks11 Instant 70s rock heaven - That's a very good thing! You and I have similar tastes in music and tone I can tell.Take it easy and thanks for watching.

  • helpful...thanks!

  • Oh! Thanks for the demo! You're showing two of my fav gear!

  • @alvaritooooooooo Thanks for the comments. I'm really happy with this amp for sure. It's awesome.

  • Oh! Thanks for the demo! Your showing two of my fav gear!

  • Great demo. I love your song choices. Great work on them all. I really liked everything that you did, but I have to say that Just Got Paid was extra cool.

I have one on the way, unfortunately I have to wait until I get home from Egypt to play it.

How about doing another with single coils?

  • @jdclementsUSA That's a good idea. I'll get something up with single coils in the near future. Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Good luck getting home from Egypt in a timely manner.
