@judgedredd123 - No, that's not what that website says, at all. The scientific proof for God is overwhelmingly abundant and around us very day of our lives in the evidence of intelligent design. If you stood outside and were suddenly pelted by many small stones that seemed to come from nowhere, there was no evidence of how those stones were hitting you, no way to photograph the person that threw them, no way to measure it, etc., would you really say, "Those stones didn't get thrown at me?" :)

2. "no way to photograph the person that threw them" - there are no invisible people, so if an observer had been at the right place at the right time, the stones thrower could have rather well been photographed.

3. "no way to measure it" - you can measure speed, mass and trajectory of each of those stones with the right equipment.

I never have seen any documentation of any Soviet soldiers fighting and dying on Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Okinawa, Iwojima, etc., etc. Point being is they only had to basically fight a one front war, while America and England fought a two front war, together. Nazi Germany could have defeated the Soviet Union, (and almost did even with the hundreds of millions of tons of weapons, food, ...

Since Britain is Germanic, Hitler's moves focused on the annihilation of the Slavs, not the Brits...after all, we lost 75% of our fighting force on the Eastern Front, resulting in almost 30 million Russian casualties. You Brits were lucky to sit on an island. Anything less and you'd have gotten ass-raped! :))

Even if the UK was attached to mainland Europe I think Britain would of held you off....they had the most powerful allied army in 1940 and the World's largest and most powerful navy....and their Air-force outclassed the Luftwaffe.

@TommyfungunDon't forget that the RAF fought on its home turf,drastically increasing the odds of a successful defense.Cruising range within combat zones for British fighters were considerably higher than for an Me109(20 minutes only)Radar allowed the RAF to have a 20 minute warning and have ALL of its planes in the air before any German bomber reached the British shores.Although superior in numbers,German bombers attacking cities instead of airfields did not pose any threat to the RAF fighters.

@ArenaOfTheAncients The Luftwaffe were only flying from airfields from across the channel this could of been only 30 miles distance from British air space. So I doubt being on your home turf played a big factor in the Luftwaffe's defeat in the BoB.

Radar was a HUGE advantage yes.....and we had the Polish 303 squadron ;)

@Tommyfungun Regarding North Africa,a decisive blow was dealt to the Germans after Montgomery felt he was both superior in men and material.Supported by the United States,while Rommel was cut short of supplies due to Hitler's Eastern campaign,the Germans were simply crushed by the enemy's weight.In case Britain wasn't an island, your Navy would have had no significance in countering the Germans.Also, British airplane production was nowhere close in early 1940 as to later in the Blitz.

@ArenaOfTheAncients I remember watching a documentary when Hitler sent supplies to Rommel and it was being sent via a giant convoy of trucks and the RAF were attacking the convoys and I think only a handful of these trucks got through to Rommel......the British outsmarted the Germans here.

But when Rommel requested more supplies because of the shortages Hitler didn't have any to spare and left Rommel with a few tin cans of soup and a few bullets and 5 tans :) and we controlled the Suez Canal

Up until late 1942, Germany had the most powerful army in the world and certainly the deadliest in all of Europe. There is no point in mentioning the Italians...an ally that makes you loose is never a good ally, as opposed to the Prussians at Waterloo ;-).

@ArenaOfTheAncients You have to remember the reason why Germany couldn't invade Britain was the same reason why Dunkirk didn't workout for the British they were cut off and cornered. In 1940 the British Army was in bad shape after losing all of its equipment at Dunkirk......but if Dunkirk never happened and Germany tried to invade Britain Germany would of had a much much much much harder fight on their hands than what they had with the French....I would predict a British victory.

@Tommyfungun Agree that without the loss of material the British would have stood a far better chance.However,allowing the evacuation of 300.000 men was probably Hitler's biggest blunder on the Western Front throughout the war.Since he was hoping for separate peace with Britain at the time,he undermined his generals who were urging him to capture the stranded Englishmen.Deaf to their pleas,he explicitly forbade them to intervene,creating the basis for British successes in North Africa later on.

In a way I think if Britain did join forces with Germany my beloved country Britain would be in much better shape and Germany would be as well.

German fighters were forced to fly at reduced speed and lower altitude than they were built for in order to protect German bombers, making them easier to kill than they otherwise would have been. Also British could use radio communication and knowledge of the local terrain to coordinate attacks. German fighters also had to refuel and could only operate in short time frames.

Other things to consider, British fighter aces shot down over British airspace could live to fight another day, while Germans became prisoners. Overall I would say home advantage was a huge factor. Look how Allied losses sharply increased when fighting over German airspace.

Britain was also strectched to her limits in Japan as well.

Germany had the most powerful land army by far. Germans drove British out of Norway, France, the Balkans, and North Africa in a string of victories, only losing when heavily outnumbered and outstretched by combat elsewhere. North African Axis were mostly Italian. Imagine if the 5 million Wehrmacht from the Eastern Fonrt were deployed in North Africa. Think you'd have beaten them?

Even when fighting a losing war the Allies, with less Armour, lower morale, no air support, most of their best men dead, they STILL prolonged the War by two years, & gave as good as they got. German Army had the best equipment, armour, land to air support, training noone could stand up to them in their prime only the Russian through attrition and huge loss. Yeah, they called the Nazi's regime the Third Reich, the first being the Holy Roman Empire, the Second was Napoleon's Empire. They all died out to pretty much the same syndrome.
