it seems kind of barbaric to have your pizza delivery guy on foot, i used to do pizza delivery, everyone does it via car, and tips go to the pizza delivery guy partly because of pizza and also for the gas money for their car. if Mooki is going on foot, he should get more money, plus i notice when he delivers pizza he rarely gets a tip or a shitty tip, it doesn't surprise me it makes him mad, Sal should take better care of his employees or its not going to be cool.
@Tazmainian black people love MJ as much as any other race in 1989 everyone knows he had a skin condition which he mentioned a thousand times ... he still should of been mention cause his unforgettable success speaks for itself but is much greater and better than any black artist/entertainer
when Rayheen talking to spike bout that love and hate look at expression ( what the f**K) thumbs up if you think they should recreate this movie but who goin to play Mookie?
what is funny that not only did they forget to name Michael Jackson they didn't notice that he sold more records and had more #1s than every music artist they named.. smh lol but i still love this movie
@v1234567ish you have to jump out of 2011-2012 and go back to 1989...at that time many tought MJ purposely changed his skin color to be lighter and blacks looked at him like a sellout
why did you cut the most central part of the movie. the dolly shot and the relationship between the son and the father. whats wrong with you. dont edit spike lee's work dont sugar coat it; god
A small issue can turn in to a riot and death brilliant film spike Lee is a genius I just watched it again after so many years and it's lost none of it's fight or power.
@RohainArora the moral of the story is the tittle basically, to always do the right thing, do what you know is the right thing to do and not what people have been putting in your head for all the years you have been on earth. the right thing is to see the world for what it is and not what you are toldd it is.
Look Guys this Movie was made over 20 years ago this was back then this movie quite frankly is the best movie ever it has everything that you would want in a movie there's culture music(Culturally)drama comedy fashion(Jordan's), a little scariness to it at the end and also a fantastic moral. Everything like the Early 90s that's what was ultimately portrayed.Movies like this do not come everyday, that's why u guys r watching it so SHUT THE FUCK AND STOP TALKING SHIT AND WATCH THE DAMN MOVIE

y people just can't enjoy a movie on youtube nobody wanna read your book nobody cares about your speeches take all that preaching some place else who gives a fuck the movie is done aint no redue take it for what it is or watch something else nobody gives a shit shut the fuck up
If this movie was trying to highlight the racism portrayed on both ends, including that perpetrated by the black community, then it makes sense. But if it was trying to make a case for the black community alone, then it didn't do a very good job. You do not walk into someone else's establishment with your radio blasting. You shouldn't even have it on in the first place. It is rude, and quite frankly, illegal. The pizza shop owner was well within his rights telling him to turn it off.
lol! imagine at 1:46 if the girl came down the stairs all high and shit and she was like ohhh shit! and fell down the stairs cuz she didnt see the toy LOL!
@InsanelyINsane accctualy u cant dis rap. because its fuckin dope.. real rap, not the illumanit shit constructed to bring down the black man, even white ppl rock n roll came from black ppls music
@InsanelyINsane all music is noise, u can say that about rock and roll, pop, hip hop, rnb, country and rap, but the type of noise that is brought together makes it music
i dont get why black people dont really give a shit bout hendrix the radio guy naming all those black music artist i didnt hear one hendrix or sly and family stone and yes im white
@filthsteppin3750 - Slash's mother is African-American and his father is a White Englishman. He's always pretty open about that fact, but doesn't seem to attach any particular label to himself that I can recall.
Interestingly, he is featured in "The Black List: Vol. 1" The documentary features interviews with prominent African-Americans including Al Sharpton, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Toni Morrison, Chris Rock. Take from that what you will.
@wadereed27 TRUE music fans appreciate ALL music regardless of color. If he named all the good artist that would take up the movie right there. He was just giving examples of artist ALL African Americans know and appreciate....and yes I'm black and I do enjoy and appreciate Hendrix and Sly.they both did good music.
Well do you want to watch the video all night - he also didn't mention...Art Tatum, Coleman Hawkins, ***Bud Powell***, Oscar Peterson, Elvin Jones, Otis Spann, Big Joe Turner, Fred Wesley, Hugh Masekela, Sonny Rollins, Professor Longhair.....and the list goes on and on........
THAN THANK THAN -- K YOU BLACK MAN. Classic...If I like the same beer as Da Mayor does that mean I am a bum, cuz I mean I have a job and a place, but I do drink MGD.....................................psych "Genny" is the shizney like walt dizney

The closest thing to a hero in the film is actually Da Mayor because hes the only one who is consciously trying to defuse the situation and also saves Sal, Pino and Vito from getting lynched
I think alot of times when i talk about this movie wit other black people they miss the point! They only notice to black oppression! But this movie is bigger! It is about a lack of understanding by all races! And the end is quite tragic! The pot over boiled! Over a lack of love and understanding!!! Get the real message black people! Hold up!! All people! there is something much more to radio's speech besides talking about his jewelry. If you pay attention, he's basically summing up the whole film. LOVE vs. HATE.
Wonder why the mayor buys his beers 1 at a time. Thats one difference I nkow between me and my Black friends I go to the store I get a twelve pack and they get a quart. Or I at least get 2 40s. But then I always end up the one drunk and in some kinda trouble so maybe I should consider the quart method!
"Everyone" hated him? Are you kidding? Right, that's why he went on to be the most popular performer of our time & sell more albums than anyone else in the world....everyone MUST have hated him for that to happen, huh...smh
O.K., You're right but still MANY people called him a child molester (AFTER HE WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY) and talked of how they hated him. But when he died he became everyone's hero. That comment was rhetorical, meant to say that(Most People) are fucking hypocrites! Most people should at least adopt some opinions of their own!
You're right, people are fucking hypocrites. When he was alive, many people believed the media's bullshit and quickly passed judgement without looking into the case properly, but then became obsessed with the man right after he died. Sucks, but I guess it's just human nature to fully appreciate people once they are gone...
